Samyang Ramen Original 120g (Pack of 20)

I've been meaning to try the potato Ramen for so long and finally decided to give it a try and I love it. I prefer the texture so much more and it even smells amazing when I'm just boiling the noodles and vegetables. The soup base is good too. Not as salty as some of the others and the spice level is perfect. I've had a lot of Korean Ramyun but this is definitely my new favourite

Literally my favourites! Always my go to when I'm feeling lazy to cook dinner. Love the chewy texture and the taste! Great value for money too. Super easy to prep!

Let me make it clear that the ramen itself is great. Chunky, thick and great mouthfeel - The kind of chewiness that a foodie would enjoy. But the soup base is way too salty for my taste! We have to use the noodles and make our own broth. Potentially good idea for healthier eating given it's not oily and leaves me very satiated. Just beware not to add a full pack of flavouring into your noodles!

Super delicious ramen noodles with just the right amount of heat (enough to make your tongue tingle.) They almost have a smokey almost barbecue flavour to them, it’s hard to explain but they are amazing. These are one of my go-to lunch options and take 7/8 minutes to prepare on the hob. I enjoy mine with poached eggs and fresh spring onions, occasionally I’ll add carrots into the pan whilst boiling too. EDITED - I'm onto ordering my 6th box so it's safe to say I enjoy them. My partner has now become a fan too. We often have these noodles for dinner with grilled chicken, fresh veg like carrots, broccoli, peas, sweetcorn, spring onions and finish with a boiled egg. Occasionally we also add a steamed gyoza or two if we're feelling quite hungry. I thoroughly recommend trying these noodles. I'd also recommend buying a couple of individual packets before commiting to a box of 20 just incase they are'nt for you.

For Samyang noodles they really don't pack the flavour you would expect. The 2x spicy ones are way to hot for me but I really liked the taste, these however are just... alright? The noodle themselves are thinner than your usual Samyang/Korean ones. Overall, decent, not bad, not great.. just eh.

The flavour was really nice, a kick of spicy but nothing to spicy. (i like the x2-x3 spicy ramen) so maybe my spicy taste buds are a little screwed. xD they ramen its self had a nice texture and im actually going to go and make a second pack in a minute. The packaging seemed a little over the top imo but i have seen other people getting packages ripped so i guess its better to be safe. Will be buying them again. Sold by: SPICEHUB via Amazon

This one was excellent—I definitely recommend giving it a try. It’s not spicy btw.

The noodles are great. I have no complaints about them but the price point is too high for a package of five.

This is a all time fave in my family!

Mit diesen Nudeln lässt sich schnell eine kleine Mahlzeit zubereiten. Zu den bestehenden Zutaten noch eine Frühlingszwiebel und ein Ei zugeben und schon ist die leckere Nudelsuppe fertig, Kochzeit 5 Minuten!! (evtl. + 1-2 Minuten, wenn man die Nudeln weicher kochen möchte).

I made sure to make this “as is”. Nothing fancy, just the ramen, so that I could get an idea of what it tastes like by itself. Firstly, the broth is amazing. It was very delicious with a nice depth of flavor and wasn’t very spicy. There was a tiny hint of spice but not very much so I think this would be perfect for anyone who can’t really handle spice. Secondly, I really enjoyed the texture of the noodles, I’m very picky about noodles. They were soft and did not get soggy. I eat quite slowly so this is important. Honestly, I’d like to try these noodles with Buldak spices as I’m not the biggest fan of the Buldak noodles. My only complaint about the noodles I think would be that they didn’t really absorb the broth, so with each bite I tried to make sure I also slurped up a spoonful of broth. *After having more I found cooking them a little longer did help with absorbing the broth as well as them not getting too mushy or soggy but this is a personal preference* Thirdly, THESE ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE!! I tasted them dry, cause I like dry ramen, and realized they tasted similar to most dry ramen, so I looked at the pack and saw it contains wheat. So please do not get these thinking you can have them on a GF diet.
