I’m using triphala to help my partner and his daughter who both have digestive issues suspected to be H.Pylori or similar. I chose this product because of True Veda’s organic certification, commitment to no fillers and the company values. I just ordered a second bottle as this combined with mastic gum, berberine and a liquid probiotic have greatly improved the symptoms and when they both forgot for a couple of days the symptoms returned. Neither of them thought my research and belief in non western medicine would work for them but they were prepared to try after ultrasound (daughter,15) and camera (partner) found nothing wrong. Triphala has such a historic traditional use it can’t be dismissed easily and science is now backing up its renowned benefits, I spent some time looking for a quality product before ordering this.

I use this in the context of IBS. Tried probiotics before with some benefits however tried this on it's own and regulates me quite well especially reducing bloating. I have yet to try combining Triphala and a Probiotic product. Worth a try for anyone suffering with IBS. Takes a couple of weeks to unfold.As most IBS sufferers know modern medicine doesn't have much on offer for IBS. Always get diagnosed as bowel cancer and IBS as well as infectious causes need to be excluded. Worth a trip to the GP. But don't get angry with the doctor once IBS is diagnosed. There isn't really much science have come up with hence the doc can't prescribe or advise when knowledge is still lacking. Lots of theories about food intolerances or having the wrong balance of bowel organisms. Worth trying some exclusion diets as well such as going gluten free even if you don't have the antibody to be classified as a coeliac.

About 2 years ago I had terrible constipation, 7 days or more without going. Then when I did go the color was terrible. So I visited my doctor and was told the usual...eat more fiber, drink more water, eat yogurt, take some unnatural prescription drugs and so on. To be honest that helped a little but the constipation came back again. In my research I came upon a short review of Triphala by Dr. Weil, known for his "non-drug" therapies. He said Triphala was non-addictive, easy on the system and made from 3 fruits. So I tried it. It took a week to act but the results have been great! I now go every day and feel my system is "emptying-out". To be honest I tried a tablet form of Triphala which did not work. This capsule works great. I just take 2 in the evening before dinner and either that evening or the next morning I have a bowel movement. Highly recommended...works great!
