Panini Press Grill Sandwich

The media could not be loaded. I loved the quick start up. Once I washed the grill plates and preheated the grill I had my first "crunch" bite in 5 minutes! The plates were very easy to remove and easy to clean. My crispy cheese that melted onto the grill peeled away from the grill. The heating units got the grill plates evenly hot. Looking at the construction quality - it is a heavy unit and it states to remain 20 cm away from body and items. It definitely works well. After use the oil drips into a catch tray (just use a heavy duty napkin to wipe the initial oil and crumbs off before pulling the drip tray out). Instruction booklet has temps for meat but didn't notice sandwich cooking time but it was easy ( just press "both grill" button and then "start" button after it's preheated. It will give you a 4.50 minutes timer at 450 degrees. It's worth it!

This grill panini press is awesome. I've made a few things on it and it even presses and grills on both side. It opens flat and heats both sides at once I can make a big breakfast on the griddle side of the grates.Flip the grates over and I can grill a steak or make a panini with the top closed cooking both sides at the same time.The grates are easy to handle, easy to install and easy to clean yet substantial. The temperature probe is really helps on my meat, never overcooked.A great product for me.

I have used this grill for about 6 months and was very excited to be able to downsize some kitchen appliances! I got rid of my waffle maker and electric fry pan because this grill could replace and handle anything I would need those items for. I LOVED this idea and I LOVED how this grill cooked food quickly! Until …. I was in the middle of making grilled cheese and the grill just shut off! I cannot get it to turn back on again! I have tried contacting customer service, which is nothing but a loop of frustrating computer-generated messages. It does not fall within the return period, so there is nothing that can be done! I am so upset that now I need to not only buy another inside grill, but also I need to again buy a waffle iron and electric fry pan! I would not recommend buying this grill and taking a chance of it dying! It made my grilled cheese sandwich a very expensive meal …(if in 6 months you use it a dozen times, add approximately $100 to the cost just to cook it).

does all i expected, grill, burgers, cook eggs, make waffles, maks pancakes, eeasy to clean. only draw back both upper and lower grill have to have same temp. with prop to cok to temp, timer to cook to right amoun of time it is a wonder.

I had trouble with this first use, but the customer service was SO FAST to respond. 90% of the issue was user error, but there is still some question as to whether or not the grill is to shut off when using the temp probe when the food reaches temp or if it continues to run until time runs out...there was a conflict in what I read vs what they told me.All that said, I'm very hopeful all is well because I really like the grill and its features. It's easy to disassemble to clean and the plates were a breeze to wash up. The time and temp were easy to set and once I was clear on how to set up, it worked as it was supposed to (minus the temp probe...a work in progress). It seems sturdy, it's a bit bulky and doesn't seem it can be stored standing up on its back end, so I need a new plan for storage, but it's a beautiful piece of equipment and overall I'm pleased.

Do not buy this grill. In order to make pancakes the griddle resets to preheat between batches and will not resume cooking for 3 minutes.The company has admitted there is a design problem and suggested I increase the cooking time which will result in burned waffles or pancakes as constant attention will be needed. For the price I want it to work properly. I have requested returning the grill for a refund.Susan DinsmoreUpdate:I was able to get a full refund. The company is working on fixing the problem.
