Excellent, love the smell

Purchased to use in conjunction with TOBS sandalwood shaving cream. Has a good lasting scent but it slightly differs to the scent of the cream (a bit inferior to my taste). Contains a bit of alcohol but doesn't dry my skin as much as other aftershaves do. Should last a good while as not much is needed and restrictor cap prevents using too much.

I first purchased my Taylors Luxury sandalwood cologne 3 years ago and have only just ordered another as the first is getting a little low. I absolutely love it, use it every day before work, and also after showers before going to bed as I find the scent very relaxing. I know the scent lasts through the day as one or two individuals have complemented me on it.

Sophisticated, manly, elegant... all those things that are so hard to come across in high street fashion brands, that try too hard to be too many things and usually make a male scent into something that is unisex or feminine, at a rip-off price. Classic fragrances though are becoming more fashionable again due to an increasing trend towards traditional shaving and also the fact that such scents have become more rare and distinctive in a crowd, so many will ask, hmmm... What is that? Smells expensive! Ooh you smell so manly! When you can usually pick up 3 bottles of classical scent for the price of a high street brand! Get your self a badger brush, a Merkur razor and some nice scented products and re-discover the lost art of traditional wet shaving! You will save money, smell great and have amazing skin. Trust me, if you haven't done so already - you will really enjoy it...

Impulse purchase after reading up in traditional versus fashion scents.If this is what sandalwood smells like, definitely not as I remember.Very very sweet smelling. A little like a cheap pot pourri, or for me a strong talcum powder!Wife dislikes it immensely and thinks it smells very cheap and old!!Have given 3 stars as perhaps it is meant to smell like sweet pot pourri and talc??

No mans grooming set is not complete without a good Cologne for a splash when needed.I have usually stuck with aftershaves, but Cologne seems to be the way mens grooming is going these days, and after using Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving cream, and loving their Sandalwood scent, thought this would be right up my street.Lovely little compact bottle that allows you to splash on whenever needed.Fantastic smell and is really fresh smelling, but only issue I have is it seems to fade rather fast, though my wife seems to love it and says she can smell it well into the afternoon when I use it in the morning.Does not cost the earth to buy and seems good value, so more than happy with this.
