Heavy enough to really insult windows.
I am a customer for life. This plastic is heavy enough to really cover and the tape is super sticky. Between the two it does a fantastic job.The tape doesn't like silicone surfaces so avoid that but basic latex or acrylic painted surface no problem.

I bought these for my huge living room and dining room windows, and each kit covered one window perfect.

Looks good and seals tight
Looks good, nearly invisible. Only complaint is that it was not the easiest to install and a a lack of detailed in depth instructions. It does have instructions and they are good enough but some tips on tightness, how much extra to leave when cutting, etc. Would have gone a long way to making it a smoother install. Also it takes a long time with a hairdryer to de-wrinkle and if you work some of the imperfections to much it melts holes in it. That was my fault, but a caution in the instructions would have been nice. I used crystal clear packing tape to cover the hole and all is well. Can't speak to how much effect it has yet, but has clearly trapped an insulating pocket of air that I expect will work well.

Plastic tears even with gentlest touch
I have used these type of products for years and this is the worst one I have ever used. Every time I touched the plastic it ripped and it did not tighten at all after I used the hair dryer. I don't know what makes this max strength but I would never purchase this product again!

Super light and super cheap for backpacking UL shelter
I used this to build a single person Utralight (UL) backpacking shelter.Super strong in both X & Y axis as long as there's no hole. Once pierced, all bets are off. I used Tyvek tape to adhere tieouts for the corners and ridgeline. There are a number of sites that provide some great instructionals on the process.These are the biggest I've been able to find at this strength.
