Love the eyeshadow, but good luck getting it un-damaged.
The product itself is fine! Love LG makeup. These eyeshadows go on and stay on without creasing. I usually apply with my fingertip or a q tip. The problem I have is with Amazon. The first order I received had 3 broken up eyeshadows. So, I requested a replacement. I have to return the original one or I will be charged again. I get that! But, if Amazon would maybe have a system to help prevent this, like better packaging for items that can damage easily, then this would not be a problem. The replacement came quickly but it has one broken eyeshadow. So, that’s annoying. I’ll keep it, because I could end up with mostly broken next time. For the price I should have ZERO broken eyeshadows. I swear I will get my son’s neutrogenia acne face wipes that come in a plastic container and they are packed in so much paper it is like going on an Easter egg hunt to find them! But yet, this eyeshadow that can damage easily in shipping, is just flung in a box ole box with nothing to help pad its journey so it can deliver safely. Amazon, do better.

Great color pallette for every occasion
This is my first time trying any Laura Geller makeup, and I'm impressed! I chose the Earthy Essentials color palette, and I love every color in it. It's a really nice mix of matte and shiny eye shadows, and I like to wear and combine both. I love the actual kit as well because there is a good amount of each color, and the kit has a mirror and also a magnetic closure. The eyeshadow goes on smoothly and dark, and it's a nice powder, nicer than a lot of others that I have from different companies. It's soft and comfortable to apply. It stays in place all day and doesn't come off until I remove it at night, so it has longevity. I like this kit enough that I'm going to go try some of the other products from this company. This was a great find for Black Friday because I got it at 50% off. This kit is a great value for the money, and I'm happy that I found it.

Stunning color and shimmer
This is my second Laura Gellar palette. I’m a bit disappointed that one of the color was broken in transport. It seems to be a common occurrence, judging by other reviews. Laura Gellar should choose a more form fitting plastic insert, molded to the eyeshadows, instead of a flat plastic insert. I think that would fix the problem. Other than that, I’m very pleased with this. The colors are buildable, which I love. You can go subtle or more dramatic. The shimmer is gorgeous and when the shadow is in the light, it really highlights your eyes well. The colors are also versatile enough for day or evening looks. Overall I’m glad I finally bought this one.

Great Value for a Great Product
I love Laura Gellar cosmetics. These eyeshadows are the perfect color and easy to apply. They last a long time too. Good value and quality. Definitely recommend.

Laura Geller Shadow Pallet
Soft, smooth application. Beautiful colors. These shadows are prone to cracking and therefore they break and fall out of the tray. Lots of waste.

Minimal Pigment
I really wanted to embrace this product from Laura Geller. But, it's very subtle. The pigment is very slight. Luckily, it layers well because you really have to build it up in order for any of the pigment to show. You may need a primer to bring out the color. I use a smidge of vaseline first to help boost the pigment. I'll use this on days when I have plenty of time to get ready, but it's not really helpful for the day-to-day for me. The pigment is just too subtle it's just too much work trying to get any effect. Although I will say it feels like a quality product and the colors are nice, they just don't work well for me. I had the same experience with the baked foundation. I couldn't get a color match without coming off orange. The company was very nice, even replaced the color for me a couple times, but I still ended up with an orange hue. Good luck to others who enjoy these products, they just don't work for me.

Wanted to love it but can't stand it
Well... first of all the product arrived broken, which I know happens but is still a downer. The palette is also in a pretty cardboard housing, not a sturdy click-closed plastic. So it's not going to be portable and will need to use more caution to avoid getting it wet from splashback of the sink etc. So minus1 star from the get-go. I have seen so many ads and reviews that rave about LG makeup! I treated myself over the holidays to two eyeshadow palettes, this pink prosecco one and one called floral. I was really looking forward to products that are supposedly made for aging women's skin. I am so disappointed! First, almost every pan is a metallic frosted, which tends to exaggerate wrinkles and saggy eyelids! I have a lot of makeup that I tried and didn't like very much or felt a little cheated by the cost vs the results, but this has to hands-down the worst ever. It feels heavy on the skin, it didn't blend well, and most of the light to medium shades didn't show well on my "light" skin (neutral undertones,blueish-gray eyes). The darker colors are too saturated and just look like red bruises, there was no neutral brown to use as a liner. That darkest red pan is useless to me, luckily that was the broken one huh. I was forced to use the midtone pink shades as the crease-shadow and lining colors with the lighter ones for overall lid coverage and highlighter shades to tone it down. In the end I felt like the eyeshadow was caked on and much too metallic for day wear, even with a dusting of mineral veil over it. Ok, that's the skin feeling. How did it look? I checked in several light settings. I saw too much makeup, and it was not very flattering. It reminded me of the makeup ladies wore in the 1970s. I will continue to experiment on how to apply it without overload on the brush (I barely tapped my brush on the color, and I tapped the loaded brush on a clean ceramic plate to evenly distribute the color on the brush and not overload the bristles). It was still too much. Worse, the product does not blend or easily spread across the lid, it clung to the first point of contact, and blending it out was a major chore. And yes, I had done all my prep work ahead of application, with a quality eyelid primer. I tried using a clean kabuki brush to blend out or lift some of the color, but wasn't very successful, and had to apply lighter colors over the darker to neutralize. I ended up having to apply mineral veil over it to make it look less garish. It looked and felt like stage makeup, something overly dramatic for my preferences. Why so many metallic shimmer shades? Mature skin does not look great with that. I will very likely return to my tried and true formula of applying a drugstore creme makeup (Revlon!) as a base, and dusting clinique or bare minerals shadows for more dramatic effects. I found nothing in the Laura Gellar products that felt or looked as-good or better than what I've been using, so I'm really puzzled about all the hype for this makeup line. What's the deal? Are all the reviews and the testimonials really honest? I was so looking forward to trying this and feel I wasted a hundred dollars! Once again fooled by marketing! I watched Laura Gellar herself apply the makeup in her videos, and her commentary simply does not match the actual experience. It's not easy to apply, it doesn't feel silky or smooth, and it is not easy to blend. Moreover, this set appears more suitable for a darker skinned person than myself, so it's not universally flattering. Most palette collections are flattering to all skin tones. This pink prosecco is definitely not.

Gorgeous colors but...
Beautiful colors but one color was crushed into powder and another was cracked. Both usable of course and were well packaged so I don't know what happened.

I used to apply Laura Geller daily. I purchased this collection due to the reasonable price and I wasn't disappointed! Beautiful metallic shades, many nudes and suble pinks that are ideal for daytime wear.

I love Laura Geller products in general, and this is no exception. You get 14 different shades of matte brown in a carboard wallet, with a mirror, inside a cardboard box. The colours range from a soft ivory through to a deep, dark brown, and just about every shade in between; if it’s not there, you can mix it. Initially, I thought each eye shadow was quite small, as the diameter is around the size of a penny, but they’re domed, and as they’re so richly pigmented a little really does go a long way. The eye shadows are very easy to apply, blend perfectly, and are forgiving if you’re not so skilled at applying make up. You can create a subtle every day look, right through to the striking and dramatic smoky eye, and it stays in place. On me, I found that it didn’t cake or crease into my lines, which can be an issue with other brands. In addition, you can extend the usage by adding a touch of highlighter over the top to make it sparkle. I do think these are incredible value for money and would gladly buy again.
