Neti Pot Salt, 12-Ounce jar (Pack of 3)

I I have purchased the Nasaline Salt in the past and really liked the product. However when I went to purchase more, the price of the Nasaline Salt was twice as much. I know that Pharmaceutical grade salt like this only gets so cheap but I prefer it to "natural sea salt" which has who-knows-what in it. So the search was on to see if I could find a cheaper, equivalent pharmaceutical grade salt. That is when I had found the Neti Pot Salt. I have heard of the Neti Pot name, but did not know they made, sold a salt. When used as recommended with the included little spoon, or by putting a heaping teaspoon into 2cups of warm water, I get a solution which cleans out my nose without burning or unpleasant sensations. The container is a good size and can be refilled with bag salt of the same type. The smaller carrying case makes it easier to travel with too (and even though I have not tired, my understanding is you should not get hassled from airport security). Overall, I am happy with the purchase and will look to this vendor again when it comes to purchase more salt.

If you are using your neti pot on a daily basis, this is the best way to do it safely and affordably. It even comes with a convenient scooper that is dual sided so you can double the amount of salt you use on those especially stuffy days. Even without anti-caking ingredients, I found this to be stable even when kept in the shower in a generally humid environment. I did have to break it up with a butter knife the first time, but not again. This is my second purchase of the 3- pack and it lasted me a little over a year using double dose salt almost daily.

I have severe sinus issues and use this salt in my Sinus plus machine to clear out my nasal passages. In the past I purchased the salt in pre made packages from various companies which can become costly especially since I've been flushing my sinuses two to three times a day now. This was great value. You receive a set of three full sized jars which have a plastic scoop included. At first I thought my jar was missing the scoop because I didn't see it until I used a bit of the salt. The scoop helps a lot and I use it to measure out salt in both my Neti bottle and for the machine. Great stuff and great value.

I use this for my neti pot because I trust the sourcing of the salt. I've used this on my first ceramic neti pot and had great success and no nasty nasal infections from unclean products. I recommend this for someone who is weary of the purity of the salt you use for your nasal rinses. I like that it also comes with its own scoop.

Yes, you can use regular table salt in your neti pot. If you're happy using table salt, then no need to purchase this. I have found that my nose is very sensitive to the additives in table salt, which is why I went searching for salt made for neti pots. In short, this brand delivered. The package boasts no additives such as anti-caking or iodine. Upon using it, I no longer felt a sting in my nose. The only bad thing about the salt is that it does clump up since there is no anti-caking additive. This means that you may have to loosen it up by banging it against the counter. I had to do this to just find the scoop. But once I did, I just give it a vigerous shake before using and am able to rinse my nose. I wish that this came in individual packs because I don't see how long one jar will last let alone three. But I think it's safe to say that I'm well-supplied for a few years.

My husband and I have used packet salts in the past from our Neti pot kits and both experienced major nasal burning. That is not the case with the Himalayan Institute salt. We assume it is because of the quality of the salt being pharmaceutical grade. It is also an AWESOME deal for three jars. It is amazing how much better we feel after using the Neti with this salt due to the high pollen count. Plus it is all natural unlike over the counter or steroidal nasal sprays. I highly recommend this salt for anyone using a Neti pot. :)

So I've only been using a Neti pot for a few months but I'm absolutely sold on it's benefits. I was going through the little pre-measured salt so fast that I decided I better find a more economical alternative. This is it! I was paying $7 for 50 one-serving packages. I bought this three-pack with free shipping for $12 and I'm getting 600 servings! That would have cost me $84 with the one-serving packages from my local drug store! I think this salt dissolves faster in the pot for some reason. It works just as good if not better! Great product. I wish I could find in the local drug stores.

The sale was handled swiftly and efficiently. It appears to be as described but I have not used it yet.
