Excellent thread lock adhesive.
Excellent thread lock adhesive. I sued this about a year ago to secure the screws that hold the filter mount on a Sage Barista coffee machine which had worked loose. They're still secure!

Keeps even big screws fixed
This is a product that you probably saw on screw threads when you opened something up but never used yourself - perhaps thinking "what is that for". I don't know if it is cheaper manufacturing or something else but I find these days that (some) screws on furniture, devices, etc. just seem to unscrew in time. Well - this is the answer, just make sure you put it at the right place on the thread and screw it back and no more problems like that. This version is for reasonably big screws - not tiny laptop screws and also not "concrete strong" you can still unscrew the screws should you need to do so. There are versions that are tougher or for smaller screws - make sure you buy the right version. Make sure you close the bottle (i.e. put top on) straight away as it seems to dry very quickly. This is the kind of item you will never want to be without in your DIY and wonder how (or why?) do other people manage without it. It may even make you unscrew stuff just to put it on a screw it back again! Good times...

Runny but effective.
I've only previously ever used the Loctite Lipstick-style dispenser for threadlocker (and Copper Grease). I realised quickly that this bottle contains a fairly runny product. Therefore, squeeze a bit onto/into a piece of scrap plastic/metal and use a childs paintbrush to apply around the threads. A few weeks later I had to take some parts apart and found the blue has solidified and seemed no different to the stick-dispensor variety.

I prefer the larger size bottles for the workshop but I keep a small bottle of medium strength loctite like this in my kit bag at work for the odd occasion where it is required and I'm not near the workshop. The medium strength is about as strong as you would want to go for a lot of DIY applications and is easily removed with hand tools. The high strength stuff usually needs to be heated to remove it so if you are wondering what to go with I'd generally go with the medium strength stuff. If you needed anything stronger you'd normally know. This 2400 Loctite is differentiated from their 243 (also medium strength) as it doesn't carry any warning symbols and doesn't contain various nasties. Probably not something that would concern people too much but useful to know for anybody looking at both and wanting to know what the difference is as it isn't always clear.

Seems ok
Easy to use. Too early to tell if ok or not, as only used it earlier today.
