Milkotein Dog Treat, Massive Bar

My dog is a hard chewer, destroying any and all toys, bones, whatever specifically labeled for such dogs. She even chews apart fire hose toys in short periods of time. I like these cheese-type chews as they do not pose the same problems as real bones do if they splinter, so I was looking for the largest chew of this type to give her. I thought the size would be perfect as it takes her longer to wear down the bigger chews. Unfortunately this chew was broken into 3 pieces when it arrived. I gave it to her anyway as I needed to have her distracted for a few hours. It worked but would have preferred to have it intact. This chew seemed more brittle than others I've purchased so I'll be going back to another brand. It lasted about as long as others of the same size.

This is a very expensive chew treat. I feed premium food so I don't expect my dogs to get their nutrition from a treat chew. What I do expect is that it will keep them busy for a decent amount of time.This bar did keep my dog busy...but mostly because he didn't really like it. He's a Weimaraner puppy with a mouth like a gator and teeth like a shark and the chew is about 1/4 gone. He'll chew on it when he stumbles across it but he won't actively look for it as he does for bully sticks.He's had it for over a week but I'll wait and see if he gets any more fond of it before I decide to buy again.

I had recently began looking for another chew to give to my dog since I had some concerns about giving my dog treats made out of Yak milk. This was because my vet said YAK milk treats are not easy to digest for most dogs. I then found out in a pet show about Milkotein being made out of cow milk and buffalo milk so I purchased it. When I gave it to my Pitt bull Brownie he looked at it & began to chew it. Within minutes he was completely concentrated on his new chew. Unlike the other chews, this one seemed to last longer. Some bits and pieces did break off. However, I found out you could microwave leftover pieces which turned into a puffy popcorn type which Brownie enjoyed even more. I only wish my pet store carried this so I would not have to pay for shipping charges again. I definitely will buy some more Milkotein treats for him in the next 2 weeks.

I have Two Labs and at first(like one Minute) they did not know what to do with it. Then one minute later it was gone and I mean gone! I was alarmed by how fast it went. I even searched for them but they were history. So my concern was for my Dogs safety!! These things are huge!!! They ate these things like they were Milk Bones. Way Too Fast!!!They were fine but I would suggest starting off with the really small size first and see how fast they eat them because I don't think that it is good for any Dog regardless of size to consume this large or size of anything in one minute. Bottom line is they can be given five stars by your Dog but they are NOT LONG LASTING!!!!!!!! It is what it is??? Good luck..

I had a problem with them sending me old product before that I returned multiple times. Those were the medium bars so I decided to try the larger one in case they just had a back stock of the mediums they were trying to get rid of. The massive bar came to me just like I remember it before, which is great! My jack russell goes nuts for these and as long as they stop sending out old bars then we will continue to be customers for a long time!

I ordered this "massive" Milkotein bar, it arrived in 5 pieces. I returned it, received the replacement, it arrived in three pieces.I used the two larger pieces. They are good for heavy "chewers" They last a long time, but when the bar breaks, the edges are pretty sharp. And if you have hardwood floors or tile, forget the "massive" bars, they will break into pieces when/if dropped by your pup.

My boys definitely didn't like these as much as the other brands of treats made in the Himalayas. The massive treat is really big and that was a plus. The size ensures that do last longer which is good news for people with serious chewers.

Massive bar did not last long with a massive german shepard who is hard on toys and bones. Didn't really expect it would though so I'm pleased. Would have given five stars had it lasted her a bit longer however, I do like it and probably for another dog you would see it last longer. She really did like it while it did last though so I do recommend.
