Gingerbread House Kit Christmas Silicone Baking Pastry Mold 3 Piece Set

Made a gingerbread house from my own dough. Much more fun that a premade kit that you only have to assemble. The texture on the windows, sides, and roof came out better than expected. My only mistake was filling the mold too high. The gingerbread puffed up and out of the mold in spots but it was trimmed easily. I would fill the molds about halfway to the top next time. Also, the top of the cookies looked undone while the underside (touching the mold) had burned a little bit. All around very happy. Fun project for the family and now we can do it every year. And the house is pretty big! It’s about 6”x6”x7” tall.

I was worried at first because I wasn't sure how full to fill the mold with gingerbread. The first batch came out pretty thick so I didn't a second, much thinner batch. As you can see, both held together really well and looked super cute!

This was perfect for my celiac daughter so she could have her own gluten free gingerbread house. The main problems I had with this set was there were no instructions included . So I filled the molds, but I feel like filling them about half full would’ve been better. One or two sides seemed to stick a bit to the mold on the edges, but that didn’t bother my kid. I haven’t used the green house mold yet, but I think it would bake some cute gingerbread (cake not cookies) houses with a little powdered sugar on top. Overall, this product was very useful for us, I just wish there was more instruction included.

Christmas is the holiday all my family comes to visit and this year I decided to surprise them with a Gingerbread town to eat . I did a test run and It turned out better than expected it’s so easy to use and easy to clean. My house was very sturdy and taste amazing. My sister in law ordered some once she saw how amazing my turned out.

These are so detailed & make a perfect size for a house to decorate. We made a gingerbread & a chocolate house.

We tried this instead of the store bought kits that are available. We did this to ensure a gingerbread that has no chemicals or unpronouncable ingredients. We oiled the silicone molds before pressing the dough in. We used a recipe off of the internet and just watched the gingerbread while it baked to make sure of when it was done. It cooked quickly and came out of the molds neatly and easily. We decided to attach the pieces together with white Wilton candy melts. It worked excellently. We used a boxed cake mix to make the houses with the green mold, not gingerbread. This worked well.

Really like it! I wish the roof was more defined, but I guess that doesn't matter if you're going to be covering it with frosting and candy. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend.
