Very effective siphon
I bought this siphon to drain fuel from garden machinery to prepare for Winter. I used it for the first time today to drain petrol from a ride-on mower. it couldn't have been easier to use - put the stiff plastic tube in the fuel tank and the flexible tube in a suitable container, squeeze the bulb and you're away. The flexible tube is long enough to reach the fuel container I put on the ground next to the mower, so I had both hands free for the siphon. I didn't time it, but it only seemed to take about 10 squeezes of the bulb to get a litre or so out of the tank. Plenty fast enough for me. Provided it lasts, I can't think of any negatives. In summary, a simple, easy-to-use, effective and cheap product that I'm happy to recommend.

Did the job
I bought this to transfer fuel from my motorbike to my car in the great fuel panic of '21 (I forgot to be a panic buying d***head). It worked just fine. There are no instructions but it is easy enough to figure out. Stick the solid tube where you need to get liquid from and the flexi tube where you want it to go. Make sure the cap is screwed on tight ,and squeeze the bulb. If the flow stops, squeeze again. Job done. It is made to a price and won't last forever, but this is maybe the second time in my 55 years on the planet that I have needed to siphon fuel, so I'll forgive it.

It works!
I needed a siphon to empty the water out of the shower tray because my shower drain was blocked. This works perfectly. It doesn't keep flowing when I stop pumping, but as long as I keep squeezing the pump (which is very easy to do) the water flows through it swiftly. I put the straight pipe into the plug hole, and the curved tube into a bucket, repeatedly squeeze the pump and the water is quickly transferred from one container to the next. Highly recommend. UPDATE: Seven months ago I wrote that it doesn't keep siphoning when I stop pumping but I have just learned that it does, albeit a slower flow. I discovered this because I left the siphon in the bucket when I got distracted and when I got back the bucket was nearly full. Lucky I wasn't away longer. So - don't leave this unattended when it is still siphoning :-D

Doesn't work
It pumps but doesn't syphon...tried using to empty a boat hull at work, the unit doesn't keep suction, let's air back up the outlet and doesn't allow a flow, tried extending the pipe with a section of hose to raise the orange section higher to hopefully encourage the syphoning but still doesn't work properly, tried PTFE tape around the threads also as though they could be leaking air due to being very thin plastic...it might be ok at getting the final dreggs out the bottom but it's quicker using a 2 ltr milk bottle with the bottom cut off!

you do need to use more effort than the guy in the video
had an electric one but left in a cold environment. got this and had no issues. depending on your needs... if you have massive volumes your hand(s)/arm(s) will fall off.

I had to clear water from the rain gutter. The hardware store sold me a shaker siphon pump that was supposed to make things easy. Unfortunately, the shaker siphon pump would not move the water no matter how hard I would shake it. I guess there wasn't enough volume of water for the shaker siphon pump? The Luigi's siphon pump cost me less than half of what I paid for the shaker siphon pump. It worked as soon as I started pump the device. It is quite a workout for your hand but it gets the job done quick.

The item arrived damaged the plastic hose was folded to its braking point with the result of never being round but stayed squashed and passing oil or liquids was not as easy. Too expensive for what it is. DO NOT BUY.
