What is the hinge made of - I need to imerse it in sea water

Hi, The centre pins on all the hinge knuckles appear to be brass, the large flange washers on the main hinge are chrome coloured but the one I have has shown no signs of rust or corrosion, so they may be stainless steel. I hope this is some help.

are the numbers just printed on or are indented too?
