I ordered this costume for my son to wear in a church Easter play in which he was playing a Roman soldier. It worked out great! My son said it was the best costume he's ever had and he plans to wear it for Halloween this year. It is good quality for a costume, fits well and looks very nice. The only negative thing I could say about it is that it is hard to fit over his head, but with a few good tugs it eventually goes on or comes off. :)

Costumes tend to run small like pajamas and this one was no different. My son is still in Medium shirts and this fit perfectly...as in I went ahead and donated it to the church when we were done with the play because he might have been able to get into for about 10 more minutes :) The leg pieces were cool but wanted to turn, I probably should have strapped them tighter. The upper arm pieces were too small for his upper arms. The neck opening on the cape barely fit over his head (several ouches as I tried to get it over his ears). The tunic underneath was a little too short for comfort but he just wore some khaki shorts underneath and they blended well. I had to give it a four because of the drawbacks above, but all in all, it is a cute costume, was perfect for the role, and all the boys thought it was really cool. The quality of the pieces was very good. For the money, I would not have even considered trying to make that one by hand.

This handsome costume came quickly and in great condition! Do remember the shield and sword are SEPARATELY ORDERED. Our child is rather tall, and still the costume fit well. Sturdier than one would anticipate for the very reasonable price!

Started falling apart almost immediately. In fact I’m fairly certain we got one someone had already returned. I only noticed it the morning of my son’s class party or I would have returned for a refund. My son was also disappointed which was the worst part. Any creases in the material cause the faux leather to flake off. After wearing it to school for a class project, the entire waist area had come off.

This costume was exceptional! I usually make my boys' costumes, so this was our first store bought. I was very skeptical of the quality. However, I was extremely please with it! My 8 year old LOVED it. We found either this exact one or very similar to this one at one of those pop up halloween stores for twice the price. Really, great product for a great price.

Because 9 year old was reading extensively about Romans, costume had to be authentic. Found Metal Helmet with Plum, made square shield with boss, added sword, and the costume worked. Leather shin straps were a little inadequate. He was happy and fierce.

Very well made costume. All pieces were well made and fit great!! Really good price and really good costume!! It has held up through a lot of play.
