is it possible to put TWO of these onto an external filter at the same time?

Want to use this one as a pre-filter for mech. filtration before ef 1000-aps.is it easy to connect them?pipes? all the help is welcome, please.:)

Do the taps have a quick disconnect? Eg turn the tap off to stop flow then disconnect from the unit or do you have to remove the pipe from the tap
