OK, but male connector seems a bit loose
Final (?) Update (Dec 2015):My daughter tripped over the cable and it came out of the monitor socket. She hadn't tripped over it with any great force, just enough to pull the plug out of the socket, as has happened a few times before, but when I went to plug it back in, I discovered that I had a bunch of wires in my hand and the plug was still in the monitor! The cable had pulled out of the plug, even though the force hadn't been enough to pull the plug out of the monitor socket. As the cable fits into the socket with what looks like a dozen or so tiny wires, is was well beyond my ability to mend it.OK, so it's three years old and it gets used maybe once a fortnight on average (we use the PC screen to watch DVDs and move it over to the couch), and occasionally it gets pulled out of the monitor by accident. But I don't think a cable should come out of its plug so easily, even after three years and the occasional accident. It's hardly the quality implied in the specification, so I am reducing it to three stars.And, of course, I won't be buying this make again. But how can I tell? However, I wasn't sure whether or not to reinstate the five stars, as I suspected that the cable not fitting properly (and probably causing intermittent contact) may have been the cause of the failure of the HDMI socket or circuitry. I have no real evidence and no way of proving this one way or the other, and the cable works fine in the new monitor (although it still seems a bit loose), so in the end I decided 4 stars was probably reasonable.However, things are not quite that simple, because the cable I am reviewing is NOT the one in the photograph! I have absolutely no idea - I don't know which cable I'm reviewing or which you are going to get delivered. What is the point of reviews if the photograph now being used is of an entirely different product? And what is the point of using photos if the product you receive isn't the one shown?!Amazon shouldn't allow this, it makes the whole process pointless.

The TV has an HDMI port which at the back of the TV,When Playing any video from Amazon Prime it was simply buffering, so I decide to buy this cable.The installation is very very simple and you will not go wrong.One end of the male connection goes in to the HDMI port on the TV. At the other end you can connect the Fire stick onto the female connection of the hdmi cable, just made sure the fire stick is slightly in front of the tv.Honestly speaking i really didn't need such a long cable, initially I was going to by a 2 meter cable -
UGREEN HDMI Extension Cable, 2m Male to Female Gold Plated Extension Lead for Roku, Xbox, PS4, Chromecast, Oculus Rift CV1 and More

Good cable , perhaps beware lack of power with mini hdmi
Works well, feels good quality. However, it's worth mentioning that using the cable to extend the output from the mini HDMI on my gtx 750ti (with a relatively short mini hdmi to hdmi adapter) I get no picture. Only by using the dvi output with a similar adapter could I get a signal. (This obviously means that I get no sound at my desk so use a Creative Sound Blaster usb soundcard plugged into Amazon basics powered USB hub which is in turn connected to 10m Blue Rigger usb2.0 extension cable.) Lack of picture issue probs more to do with the lack of power from the mini HDMI output that the fault of this sturdy cable tho.

Superb product!!!
I would definitely recommend this product attached it from a 3d blu ray player to a 3d television and works just the same as the old shorter lead, perfect picture quality and perfect audio!!. This product has saved me loads of money as I was originally going to purchase a wireless hdmi attachment so I could wall mount the television. All you need is this lead combined with some small decorative stick on trunking from B&Q to match the colour of the paint on your wall and you've got yourself a perfect set up, I also think that the picture and audio quality of this will actually be better than a wireless system as it's a direct connection from the blu ray player to the TV!

HDMI extensin cable
Does what it says and enables you to attach devices such as cameras and sit well back from TV to view.We had a shorter HDMI cable with the correct connection for the camera which can be plugged into this cable now rather than directly to the TV, before we got this cable we had to sit on the floor near TV and craddle camera carefully whilst trying to play back and watch output on TV at same time. Could be somewhat cheaper, but does the job.

Well bilt but not suitable for Rift VR.
This is a well made cable, unfortunately it doesn't work for extending an Oculus Rift but that was a gamble I took. Going to try it with a Repeater later on so it might still do the job, but don't go for it on it's own if you are trying to get a bit more leeway for your HMD.
