I installed this solar powered camera on my shed to overlook A portion of my property that I cannot see from the windows.I decided on this model because it was the most affordable I could find with a semi attached panel. The sun hits behind my shed for most of the day so this design allows for optimal charging power for my situation.it’s working out perfectly. I can now easily see all activity on the back end of my property; right from my iPhone 12, without having to even get up from the sofa.The camera & panel installed easily Onto the facia (panel on the roof). I had it up and running in about 15 minutes. user-friendly instructions and easy to use app. It has a really good range, my shed is about 40' from the house. I get a great connection with no lagging whatsoever.it has a bunch of setting configurations for different notifications depending on your needs. I set mine up to notify me only at night when it detects motion. since my children play outside in the back all day.I absolutely love that I no longer have to scream out the window when dinner is done. I can call them from the camera through my phone and they hear me clearly and from a great distance.The picture quality of both night and day are extremely clear.I love everything about this camera. I would definitely buy it again if need be.Worth the price!!

This camera gives a clear view/picture during both daylight hours and at night. The motion detection works well and picks up on most motion. Unsure how some motion has gone undetected with the camera being set to the highest sensitivity.Decent battery life. I have had to charge the camera a few times when it has rained or been cloudy for several days in a row. Does take almost 24 hours to recharge if it gets down to zero. During the winter months the camera would get stuck and would not rotate (turn). Presumably due to the gears being frozen/stuck. The app is easy to navigate and the video typically comes up with only minimal delay. Overall, a decent camera that I would and have recommended to others.Update: I have ordered two additional cameras. One of which is the newer model. The new cameras have much better battery life. The newest one I ordered also came with a SD card included which is a bonus. Overall, the cameras are worth the money. Clear picture with decent motion detection.

I just recently contracted a wetslip for my boat. Having such a small bilge I was afraid of the boat sinking quickly with no one noticing. I needed a wireless solution as my marina doesn't have wifi or electric. This camera met all my needs. The yearly subscription is CHEAP for cellular. I was able to check on my boat during several thunderstorms to make sure the pumps were running. And I even recieved a motion alerts when someone else got too close to my boat. My slip neighbor noticed the camera and now asks me every once In a while to check on his boat as the camera has PTZ. For the price you cant beat this camera. The resolution is great and the solar panel has never allowed the battery to go below 90%. It's lasted 2 months in a marine environment in the hot south Florida sun with no sign of deteriorating so I think it will hold up for a long time. But at the price point I'd be happy even if last just a year.

The camera overall is very nice and good video the only problem is that it will not stay connected it will go offline and the card stops working so the camera will not go back on line.

As far as clarity, connection, and ease of use, I would rate this product as 5/5; the only reason I won't is due to the power supply.I placed this in a remote location (my camp) which sees a lot of sunlight, and positioned the solar panel to face the sun where it shines most of the day. the battery very quickly discharges- even when not being viewed live. I attempted to turn off motion sensing, tried to turn it to low, tried to turn of night vision, none of which work; the app shows that night vision is off, however, it is still obviously on. when I attempt to turn motion sensing off, the app says that it saved the settings, but when I go back into the settings menu, they're back at default. I want to like this camera- if it stayed charged it would be perfect.I took the SIM out of my AT&T hotspot, inserted it into this camera, and it immediately connected, and every time I attempt to connect remotely, it connects (except when the battery is dead)**update**the manufacturer read this review and immediately contacted me. I was impressed with how responsive and helpful they are.we determined that the battery was discharging due to the motion sensor- currently the app only allows you to turn motion ALERTS off, but not motion detection on the camera itself- they are releasing an updated app in a week which will allow you to turn off motion detection.They were able to turn of motion detection remotely, and the battery no longer dies overnight.Thank you, Selina, for OUTSTANDING customer support!

Bought this for parents who needed to remotely monitor watering systems on property that has no landline internet. Was concerned about the level of support but so far the chat support team has been quick to respond and answers all questions. Connection was straightforward, though the cell network connection took a few attempts, more time than expected and burned through the included data faster than expected.Keep in mind that pricing for the two included cards are not the same. The price for Verizon is more expensive and the available plans do not match those in the item description.So far the video quality is clear, the app controls work well. The data burn rate that we measured is about 12MB per minute at high resolution, so the 6GB plan will allow for about 8.5 hours of video playback. Having motion control turned on burns through data quickly, so we turned it off as we only wanted to use on-demand.Overall for the use we had, this type if camera was the only real solution. So far we have been pleased despite the few drawbacks.
