After my softener dispenser stopped working, i found this gadget which works perfect in my front loading washing machine. Super simple to use, i would highly recommend if you dont have a softener compartment or have trouble with your washing machine dispensing softener from the drawer.

Works well and has solved the problem

So the product is great and does what it says on the tin. It solved the issue with my washing machine not getting the conditioner out of the tray. already used it a few times and never had a problem, released the softener every time. Works well with my front face load machine. Only downside and reason why I give 4 star is the fact that you cannot buy them individually. Since you will only use one the other two are wasted money. I will keep them as back up even if the product looks sturdy and hopefully will last a long time.

Having now used it, it's perfect. I'd lost the use of my fabric conditioner drawer.

The washing machine's dispenser tray stopped working, as it's fairly old, I decided it's not worth the repair cost and decided to try using this. Works okay but difficult to determine at what point the fabric softener is released. Suffice to say that I'm using twice the dosage of softener to get the same result as when the machine's dispenser tray was working. I assume this may be due to it being designed for an American top loader, not the usual UK front loader. Addendum: After 17 washes the first plastic chain broke. Perhaps that's why they come in sets of 3.

These are great especially as my machine wasn’t taking the softener anymore! Remember though to water down the softener as if you don’t it can leave a mark on the clothes once I did this and added or watered it down it works a dream !
