Does what it says on the tin.... makes sparkling water quickly and easily. However it seems quite expensive for such a simple device. This is not high tech. Also mine always leaks a little bit. I don’t overfill the carafe but it still seems to bubble over a bit and leak out. In addition, the bottles only hold about 1/2L so one needs 2+, preferably 4, to always have cold water on hand.

I would give this product 5 stars but for the fact that all instructions, including details on how to register your product etc. were in German. The cost of this product is £162 and I would expect to receive it with ENGLISH instructions. It really is not good enough. However, the product is good, well-designed, and easy to use. It goes well with a modern kitchen and the carafes are eco-friendly and nice to look at.

Please read to the end I like that this unit does not require power and the bundle comes with glass bottles which not all units can take. Functionwise, yes it makes various levels of fizzy water so tick that box. The unit requires space above itself as the top elevates when you insert/remove the bottle which means it's unlikely to sit beneath your wall cupboard. Warning: IT IS NOT BLACK (please see photos taken in front of a true black Samsung fridge/freezer). The casing a plastic and dark charcoal in colour which means it is being misadvertised as black on all websites. Not a big deal to some but when the rest of your kitchen appliances are black, it does make a difference. Sodastream Customer Service eventually admit that it is not black - let's see how long it will take for the model description to be amended - and after some to-ing and fro-ing offered a refund or FoC exchange to either the Power, which even though it costs more, it is tethered to a power outlet and does nor use glass bottles. Or the Spirit black, which is a cheaper version and not the same functionality & I can be forgiven for wondering if the Spirit is truly black. Whilst I am happy with my fizz, I do feel disappointed with the appearance, and sadly SodaStream Customer Service have not done enough to make me a happy customer leaving a bitter taste.

Lo he regalado dos veces y las dos personas están encantadas con el sabor y la versatilidad. Cito literalmente "No sabía lo mucho que lo necesitaba". En mi opinión, el único problema (por el cual no me compro uno para mí) es el tamaño, poco usable en cocinas pequeñas. Pero entiendo que con el tamaño de los cilindros poca cosa puede hacerse.

Très bon produit, on sent la qualité. Un à deux appuis sur le bouton et c'est prêt ! Cependant, l'ouverture est très difficile, pour ne pas dire aléatoire. Peut-être qu'avec le temps, ça se débloquera... A noter que j'ai reçu un premier défectueux. Il fallait appuyer plus d'une dizaine de fois pour remplir la bouteille de gaz qui fuyait. Le vendeur a été extrêmement efficace, produit échangé en deux jours! Mise à jour après une semaine d'utilisation. Le couvercle s'ouvre simplement en maintenant l'index et le majeur du côté opposé au pouce. C'est-à-dire qu'il ne faut pas pincer la petite manivelle et pousser à droite, mais faire pivoter le bol dans le sens horaire contraire. Très technique mais fonctionne parfaitement. Semplicissima da usare; noi la usiamo da circa un anno, prima di questa avevamo il modello con le bottiglie in plastica, questa è molto più comoda con le bottiglie in vetro non hai più il problema della scadenza! Come si vede nel video rimane sempre un po’ di acqua che cola ma basta svuotarlo o asciugare il fondo con uno straccio pulito! Per noi è un grande risparmio sia di fatica che di plastica dato che abitiamo al quarto piano senza ascensore! Quanto frizzante lo puoi scegliere tu con il pulsante più lo tieni schiacciato più frizza!! Io lo consiglio per chi vuole avere la comodità di avere sempre l’acqua gasata a portata di mano come se aprisse una bottiglia appena comprata al supermercato! OTTIMO PRODOTTO!!!

Recensisco il SodaStream Crystal dopo due mesi di utilizzo. Premetto che ho acquistato la versione 2 a prezzo maggiore proprio per le migliorie apportate, che qualcuno non ha individuato. Prima di tutto le bottiglie hanno un fondo maggiorato per far in modo che anche se gasate troppo non si frantumino, secondo il meccanismo di blocco del gasatore è stato migliorato in modo che con i continui utilizzi non finisca per usurarsi e diventare inutilizzabile, infatti nessun problema dopo 2 mesi e almeno 5 bottiglie al giorno di acqua gassata. La ricarica ci dura 1 mese e siamo una famiglia composta da 3 persone con in media 5 bottiglie gasate al giorno, molto soddisfatti da questo punto di vista. Le bottiglie di vetro in oltre in quanto a igiene e praticità di lavaggio non hanno paragoni, in passato ho utilizzato un gasatore di altra marca ma poi abbandonato per la poca affidabilità delle bottiglie PET che dopo pochi mesi di utilizzo rilasciavano uno sgradevole odore e conferivano all’acqua un sapore poco gradevole, con il vetro invece si ha la sensazione di bere acqua sempre fresca e pulita! Per quanto riguarda la “poca” capienza delle bottiglie noi teniamo sempre una bottiglia di vetro extra da 1L in frigo in modo che se beviamo più del previsto possiamo rimboccare con acqua fredda e frizzare in 2 minuti, non lo vedo un grosso problema. Unica criticità il prodotto arriva SOLO con istruzioni tedesche ma il funzionamento è talmente intuitivo che non sono servite. Un prodotto che mi sento di consigliare per chi tiene alla praticità e all’igiene dell’acqua il vetro batte la plastica di parecchio!
