Please tell me, will this house 2 large bottles of washing liquid and spray cleaner?

Not at all. It houses a medium sized fairy liquid in the main compartment. Will just about fit a cleaning brush with it. In the smaller compartment just one sponge cleaner squeezed in.

Does a bottle of hand soap fit in the space for sponges/scourers in the sink tidy?

Too narrow a space for a bottle to fit in. A normal sized scourer or a sponge can just about fit in. The other space for dishwashing liquid bottle can take a medium sized Fairy Liquid bottle only.

Is it Dishwasher safe ?

It comes apart, and is easy to wash. I don’t put it in the dishwasher, I think that it would mark the finish.

Is this stainless steel with grey or black, difficult to tell in the photos?

Stainless steel with grey. It’s very stylish-and very good.
