Johnsons 4Fleas Tablets for Cats and Kittens, 6 Treatment Pack, 14D083

I was recommended these by a family member after I rescued a kitten that came with a flea infestation. It was a nightmare trying to get rid of them, I tried those spot-on gels and various sprays on furniture, but nothing seemed to work but these! Within an hour of giving the tablet, the fleas starting dying. When my kitten got up from laying down on my desk, there was many incapacitated fleas left behind, which proves it really does work, and that you need to be constantly hoovering! I hid the tablet inside a meat stick treat and gave one to both of my cat with no issues, so they are very easy to administer. Your cat might get hyperactive and start itching frantically for the first few hours, and this is normal and it means that the fleas are interacting with the tablet, dying and falling off. Also, cleanup is key, these do kill the fleas on the cats, but you must vacuum your house regularly to catch stray eggs. The fleas might return after a week or so (from hatching again), so you may need to give a second dose and continue the treatment as per the instructions. At £7 for a pack on sale, they are price competitively with other treatments, and this has multiple doses so I’d argue that it’s way better, given that it actually works. Worth every penny.

Having tried many different flea treatment options, including many different spot on solutions I was very skeptikal about this product as nothing seemed to really work. However, I must honestly say this product works the best out of anything else out there. Our female cat had got fleas so bad to a point that she was getting covered in cuts and scabs from scratching so much, her fur was getting so bald and thin in places it was awful, but we could no longer try spot on products due to the fear of the product getting into a cut / open wound. She would not eat any food this was hidden in, whether broken up, crushed up, or whole.... she knew it was in there and wouldn't touch the food, so I reluctantly resorted to dropping a whole pill into her throat. For the first hour or so she was super itchy and excessively grooming herself, which I thought was a good sign that something was happening. The next day however, she is noticeably much much more calm, and on inspection of her fur there seems to be no fleas at all on her already. You can give these tablets as often as you need to as they don't offer 'upto 6 weeks protection' like the spot on solutions claim...... but it's not too expensive to just give her another as and when needed to keep the fleas under control. I think this treatment, combined with regular hoovering / cleaning of the house seems to finally be the answer to our cats comfort, and keeping those pesky fleas at bay! This definitely deserves the 5 star review, fantastic stuff.

I don't often write reviews for products bu for this I felt I had to. I have spent nearly £150 in the last year battling fleas on my cat and in my home. I have used some of the top recommendations from the best brands, numerous flea treatments for the cat spray, powders, flea traps and so on. Then I can across these tablets as a last ditch effort. I could have saved myself £130. Gave to may cat on the 28th December, there was no fuss he ate the tablet up with his treat,( understandably not everyone’s cat is this easy to take tablets), within the hour there were some dead fleas on his sleeping spot. I brushed him through with a nit comb and more fell off. Treated the house again with sprays and washing bedding etc on high temp. It is now 3rd January and no fleas on the cat or in the home. My cat is now happy and content. Bottom line this tiny tablet rid our house of pests and has saved me spending another fortune on treatments.

Great dies as it should my cats sometimes hard sneak them in there treats but once taken soon work

Never usually do reviews but i HAD TO with this one because it really did work and literally still is So I was aware the both of my girls had fleas when I kept finding tiny black specs on the window sills where they like to sit and when wiped the black specs turned into blood I found out this was flea dirt 🤢 i had seen them scratch the odd time but nothing major, like no baldness ect my girls are rather healthy and chubby with beautiful shiny coats and I've always bathed them regular since kittens so I'm shocked tbh But they do go outside sometimes So figured thats where they've picked them up from as we literally have no carpets in our house just hard floor so there would be no where for fleas to nest only on the cats Anyway I literally purchased these yesterday and they came today at 4 o'clock todag I gave a tablet each to both my girls i just put the tablet in there mouth and held till they swallowed because they would of found it in food they aren't stupid 🤣 Anyway the box says 15 minutes but my god it started to work within about 10 I shut both girls into the bathroom and left them for 10 mins and went and checked i could literally see fleas dropping on the floor and squirming about there was so many So I left the girls in there abit longer and then I gave them both a bath each and hoovered after as more dropped of when they shook after being towel dried Put the towels on a 90 wash right away after Then when the girls went and lied down I kept checking and more fleas were found they were alive but not jumping its asif there were becoming paralysed I literally poked one and it didn't even jump or move away it was asif the fleas are struggling and I watched as they slowed down and completely stopped moving This is definitely worth the money to me for 6 tablets Im thinking of getting the house spray next aswell and the forgets for extra protection My girls looked at peace finally after that no symptoms at all both relaxed no scratching or licking now Thankyou johnsons!!! I will definitely be buying again if needed
