GeminiAccessories - Clear Cutting Plate

I used the machine for making homemade cards. The machine is excellent.The thing I dislike most is that the inner plastic holder which holds the work to be cuthas bent very much out of shape and really needs renewing. The Gemini itself is greatand is very portable. I love it!

Good quality. Good value. Ideal for purpose.

I used this for making cards for Christmas,but although it is very good it does warp quickly after two or three cuts and despite turning it each time and weighting it down with my Gemini it cannot be straightened.Has anyone a solution to this?

and I have opened my second set of plates as the originals are as bent as bananas. I bought from Global to have a new set of plates ready. I have labelled the plates top and bottom as a lady on the internet recommended keeping one plate on the bottom and turning it and keeping another plate for the top as a cutting plate as Gemini seems use the dies cutting size up. So we'll see. New plates each month for cardmaking for amusement seems to be a bit excessive!

I wish that the plate was more substantial.It is very thin and distorts very quickly despite rotating it each time the Gemini machine is used.It looks as if I am going to spend a fortune on plates, unless my husband can find a stronger piece of steel which is of the same thickness.

17 settembre 2020 Ho acquistato la mia fustellatrice elettrica Gemini.21 aprile 2023 (dopo 2,5 anni) ho acquistato una nuova lastra trasparente per € 11,26.28 gennaio 2024 (dopo 9 mesi!) Ho acquistato 2 nuovi piatti trasparenti a € 15,37 ciascuno.Ora ho fatto passare un disco nella macchina 6 volte (girando il disco ogni volta e girandolo a sinistra/destra.Il disco è ormai antiestetico e già ondeggia in tutte le direzioni.Non ho più iniziato ad usare la macchina, ma molto meno.Penso che la qualità delle lastre trasparenti sia drasticamente diminuita e i prezzi siano molto più alti. Questa sarà l'ultima volta che compro dischi e cercherò un'altra fustellatrice elettrica. Penso che questa sia una cosa molto negativa per un'azienda rispettabile come Crafters Companion.Non puoi fare a meno di queste piastre, ma è un peccato che la piastra superiore si deformi dopo averla usata alcune volte. Lo giro ogni volta che uso la macchina.
