DeWalt DT7508-QZ 1/4" Hex to 1/2" Square Impact Wrench Adapter

Good robust adaptor

This is an adaptor to enable ordinary hex bits to be used with a 1/2in square impact wrench. It comes in DeWalt blister packaging. (photo) The first thing to say is, this is made to replicate an impact driver. Impact drivers have considerably less Nm torque than impact wrenches, so if you try to use this on your wrench at full power, this adaptor will soon fall apart. This is nothing to do with the quality of the adaptor. It just cannot handle 500 Nm of torque. Depending on your model, you will need to decide at what level is acceptable. Start low and work up to an usable level. In use, its fine. Some people have commented on the amount of wobble. Yes, there is wobble, but assuming you're not going to start it up until the bit is engaged with the screw or bolt, I personally don't see what the issue is. An adaptor on a wrench is going to wobble more than an Impact driver, which in turn is going to wobble more than a drill chuck. That's just the way they are designed. In use, it works perfectly well. If you're impact driving all day, then this isn't for you. But for occasional use, and saving the need to carry both tools, it's incredibly useful. Its half the price of the Milwaukee and a less than a third of the price of the Makita equivalent. For the money it's a good buy. I hope you found this review helpful.

Great product Adapter does holds the bits, does not jam the bits as any other cheap Adapters. Can use with simple bits or wood bits up to 32mm diameter. Push the bit inside, to release the bit you have to go down with adapter. Yes, you pay a little extra - but, you get what you pay! Go for it!

Przydatny adapter, który pozwala zamienić zakrętarkę/klucz udarowy na zwykłą wkrętarkę. Dość dobrze trzyma bity.

Recentemente ho acquistato un avvitatore a impulsi con attacco quadro 1/2" e mi chiedevo se si potevano montare in qualche modo anche i bit visto che su alcuni modelli c'è già di fabbrica un foro con l'attacco. Sapevo dell'esistenza di questo tipo di adattatori perché ho quelli per il cricchetto, ma non sapevo invece di questa tipologia impact. L'ho scoperto facilmente qui su Amazon e nonostante le recensioni contrastanti su questo Dewalt ho fatto l'ordine. Preso scontato per il black friday quindi molto conveniente. Dico subito che è fatto benissimo ed è piuttosto massiccio. Da nuovo bisogna odiarlo un po' e diventa più scorrevole. Il gioco tra l'innesto e il bit esagonale da 1/4 è ottimo. Ha una minima tolleranza, almeno coi bit della parkside che ho provato. Anzi, direi che sembrano fatti apposta. Il gioco più evidente è chiaramente nell'attacco da 1/2 pollice, ma chi ha dimestichezza con gli avvitatori pneumatici sa bene che è assolutamente normale. Non si può pretendere concentricità da un attacco quadro per chiavi a bussola. Per quella precisione c'è il trapano avvitatore con mandrino a 3 griffe. Ovviamente questo tipo di adattatore è appunto un "adattamento" e quindi una soluzione temporanea. Detto ciò, sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto per via dell'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
