Does the job.
It's not tech, so only thing I can say is looking forward to using it. Price is about right for what it is.

BIG tweezers
These are the business!. Being made of stainless steel, they will last forever. We use it for boning fish and it works much better than the little tweezers that we used to use.

I wouldn't be without these
I love cooking and eating fish but hate the hassle of removing the small bones. I have tried various different things from kitchen roll, standard tweezers and even brute force - none of them have been very effective and more often than not I have managed to damage the flesh of the fish in the process. It got to the stage where I used to cook the fish first and then try to remove the bones as they were remove that way. After watching many episodes of Masterchef I noticed that both amateur cooks and the professional chefs used pin bone removers to take out the small bones so I had a look on Amazon to see if there was anything similar for sale and came across this Kitchen Craft Fish Bone Remover.I know it sounds a bit dramatic, but for me, this little tool has transformed the preparation of fish. I did find that they were a little on the stiff side when I first used them and needed more force to get them to close around and grab a bone. However, with repeated use they have loosened up and now work absolutely fine. They are just under 5 inches in length and can easily be held and used with just one hand. You use them like a standard pair of tweezers but the difference with these is their large flat edges on both sides of the pincer tongs. These allow you to grab the bone and hold onto it whilst removing it. Standard tweezers don't give you such a good grip on the bone and it generally ends up sliding out of the end of the tweezer before you can pull it out. This tool is well made from stainless steel which means that it doesn't tarnish or discolour, they have the words, 'stainless steel' imprinted onto one of the side edges. They come with a 12 month guarantee against any faults with the tool.Only the very ends of the tool get any mess on them so a quick wash in hot soapy water cleans them fine, but they are also safe to put into the dishwasher.I would recommend these to anyone who has to prepare and bone fish.

Does the job...
If you eat trout and are responsible for pin boning them you will know how essential something like this is. They work well and are easy to hold. No disadvantages that I can see...

Fish Pin Bone Tweezer
This is a very basic pin bone tool which I do not find works too well. I have another which is vastly superior although a lot more expensive.

Works a treat.
At home we eat quite a lot of fish and are happy to buy fish on the bone. Filleting before or after cooking can be fiddly if using fingers only. The tweezers enable the cook to bone quickly, without fuss and very effectively.
