ANDIS Us Pro Lithium Cordless Clipper

I have been looking for decent clippers. These clippers are entry level clippers used by professional barbers and very good. When buying clippers I think it is better to go for known brand, such as Andis or Wahl rather than the no brand products churned out by china factories.

Feels sturdy, heavy in the hand, well balanced and works very well until it doesn't anymore. After 4 years and a half the motor stopped working. For the price, I was definitely expecting more longevity.

I upgraded from a £30 rechargeable Philips clipper and the difference between the two is substantial. Immediately after unpacking the Andis clippers, you can tell that this is some professional kit. It's heavier than the Philips, but feels absolutely solid, not flimsy and plastic-y like the Philips clippers. The ergonomics are top notch, it fits your hand perfectly and is easy to handle, both when cutting the hair of others as well as your own (I tried both last night after charging the unit). Also, it's a LOT quieter than any other clippers I've tried over the past 20 years of cutting my own hair. The included combs (up to 25mm) are plastic, but much sturdier than any others I've tried.I only docked a star because it doesn't cut as short as the Philips did, but leaves 1-2mm of soft stubble. I might look into "zero-gapping" it eventually.

I barb my hair myself, which I have been doing since more than 15 years.I have used Moser and Wahl (cable) in the past. This works flawlessly and I do use it every 2-3 weeks to cut my hair. The battery lasts well, too and the reason I bought the clipper.

Delivered in good time ,very pleased with product ,clippers are light regards weight ,sharp , & easy to use ,only thing I needed as I live in the uk was a 3 pin shaving plug adaptor to plug the EU 2 pin into apart from that these clippers are outstanding for convenience being cordless , & accessories are numerous too ,great buy

Iv had 3 pairs of these clippers in the past, usually get a few years out of them!last pair I ordered from this seller in June and they were unusable by September, they don’t charge properly and battery motor seems defective! Can’t get a refund or replacement! Shop elsewhere

Excellent clippers, well built with a lot of attachements and plug options.I had not heard of the 'ANDIS' brand before, but looked at the reviews and am very pleased.Have proved very useful during the two lockdowns this year and have already paid for themself.
