La Roche-Posay Effaclar A.I. Targeted Breakout Corrector 15ml

I have suffered with acne for many years, including into my adult life, and have never found something to give me normal skin. I have used BB cream for some years as a way of covering it, but that wasn't helping the problem at all. I bought the A.I cream a month ago and I can't believe how well it has worked, to the point I can wear normal moisturiser without foundation for the first time in over a decade. I have been applying it twice a day, once after my morning shower, and once before I go to bed after washing my face. I have been waiting five minutes after doing so before applying Cetaphil Gentle Moisturiser (to let it sink in), and I must say it has taken a month to get to this point — BE PATIENT. For anyone that is suffering with acne, please give this a try. My skin is so sensitive, I can't even use normal body wash, so to find something that works with my problematic skin is a godsend. I will be buying again, and no doubt into the future, although it looks like my skin is past acne already!

I knew turning 40 would mean a few more physical changes would be heading my way soon as no youngster anymore, but I didn’t bank on the recent changeable winter weather/February heat wave combined with my hormones going nuts triggering my skin into have major teenager monster breakouts!!! The only thing that has helped sooth and reduces the red angry GIANT spots I would wake up daily with was this little miracle in a tube. (Where was this when I was 15?!??). Within a matter of minutes of applying and soaking in, redness was reduced and the spot looked “better”. It did not clear them up in their entirety - as nice as that would be it’s not a realistic expectation of any product - but I was stunned at the calming effect it did have and so fast and I felt it cleared them up much faster in a matter of days rather than a week vs. other oily skin products I have used in the past. As a result have also gone out and brought their moisturiser, face wash and cleanser to add to my arsenal on the fight against acne. This product and moisturiser have replaced my old favourites in my daily routine. They absorbed into the skin quickly, weightless and have been great to use under makeup, helping mattify my very very oily skin, preventing the dredded make up slick n slide by the end of the day. Would highly recommend this product, along with facewash as a minimum for anyone else, young or old, battling spots and the daily fight to hang onto your self esteem.

Very effective, started seeing the results only after a few days

This has kepy my breakouts away for over a month.. ive always struggled with my skin but this is really good at keeping big sore zits away which normally form around my chin. I use it before bed after removing my make up and I also put it on again before applying my make up. I did use the whole 3 step set from la roche-posay but didnt see a significant difference.. this seems to work better on its own :)

A lovely delicate cream, it smells absolutely gorgeous and feels great on my skin, its hydrated as well as made my skin incredibly smooth however it unfortunately hasn't reduced or improved the appearance of my scars which I'm rather disappointed about, its of course had its benefits by making my skin glow and alot healthier but hasn't fulfilled its true purpose. I think this has been an expensive lesson learnt sadly.

I have been struggling wi.th spots in my face lately. Benn using this product for just a few days and I can see the difference. They are drying and soon they will be gone. Amazing product

Really helped my skin settle down during a break out. I have very sensitive skin too and had no reactions to this. I’ve used it day and night too. Good value for money too.
