A very decent bit of kit for the price.A fearsomely sharp blade and a knife that is of reasonable quality for the price.Recommended? Yes definitely.

Excellent knife, but still haven’t received my fly screen

This is the Swiss army of chef knives,I genuinely use this for everything. Perfect for carving and slicing.

I needed a knife that could handle sourdough loaves bought locally. My existing 2 old serrated knives were just not up to the job and my shoulder was suffering from the huge effort of getting through the base crust when slicing. I was somewhat underwhelmed on opening the box as this knife is very light, almost flimsy, and the handle is cheap- looking too. I had half decided it was going to be returned however the performance is stellar and I am definitely keeping it. There may be cheaper versions around but most seem to have varying reviews and this Victorinox was my choice.Still not overstruck on the handle but at the end of the day this knife's performance is excellent.
