I bought these to remove a screw from a eurocylinder ...
I bought these to remove a screw from a eurocylinder lock on my PVC door. The head of the screw was damaged and I had used several screwdrivers to try to remove it without success. I was going to snap the lock, but my friend suggested I tried these. I ordered them yesterday and they arrived today. After a few minutes drilling into the screw I turned the bit over and put it in my electric screw driver. It instantly came out! Very pleased

Really useful tool
There were some mixed reviews so I was not optimistic. The tool worked well. One of the key instructions is to have the drill in reverse for both steps of the operation.

Extractor
Good on smaller screws but failed on large screws

but for anything that is tightly stuck I would not recommend this set
Threading on removal sides is not deep enough to actually bite into and grip. Might be effective for relatively loosely installed screws, but for anything that is tightly stuck I would not recommend this set. Glad it was inexpensive because I now have to purchase something better.

Screw extracter
Yes, a lot depends on how much the screw are damaged, but it did the job for me, and I would certainly have a set in my tool box.

Problem answer
First class tool and works well would recommend for those difficult screws that just will not shift
