I needed to replace my old kettle (Smeg) however I wasn't paying €160 for a replacement. The new kettle looks a little like my old one which is what I wanted as I still have a smeg toaster. As previous reviews stated, it is a little noisy when boiling however I find that if I'm boiling the kettle and pop out of the room for something, I'll hear that the kettle has boiled. It's a nice sturdy kettle. The smeg kettles have gentle opening which can be a little annoying at times, this one doesn't and it's great in my opinion.

My previous Russell Hobbs electric kettle eventually gave out after 4 years so I had no hesitation with buying another one. I particularly like the stainless steel because they are so easy to clean. Quick to boil and have not found this one too noisy.

I liked the fact that the kettle was stainless steel and not the usual plastic, it boils quickly maybe a little noisy as it starts to heat up but not to its detrement. It is a smart black appearance, the only slight criticism is the water level indicator is positioned behind the handle instead of at the side of the kettle, making checking the level not so easy to see. Good kettle reasonably priced .

Nice looking kettle, relatively quiet and efficient. Only issue for me was the instruction regarding the filter, it could have been clearer, had to find a YouTube video to clarify it

Looks very nice in my kitchen next to the matching toaster. I have previously always bought cheap kettles so am very much enjoying this one (although I realise it's not terribly expensive). It boils water quickly and does what is expected of it. I've noticed that other reviews state that it is noisy? I've not noticed this

I have purchased TWO of these kettles, one as a gift and the other as a gift in March 2022 and should still be under warranty.BOTH switches suffered with the same failure in that the plastic cover which protects the light within the switch, has split in half.According to the Russell Hobbs service department, replacements are not available, does this render the kettle unsafe? I could not get an answer. Do I get a replacement? No answer.The kettle continues to work well, but am I forced to purchase a replacement?I feel certain many purchasers will have had the same issue.Sadly, more Chinese rubbish!

The media could not be loaded. The switch has failed after 1.5 years after normal household use, this isn’t acceptable for not a cheap kettle, Amazon are impossible to get hold of for a return and refund or replacement. This shouldn’t be the case.
