Handmade Natural Lemongrass Soap Bar - Range No.7 - Rosacea/Thread and Spider Veins Calming, Acne/Large Open Pore Relief - 75g

I have been using a trial size version of this soap since November. This soap is fantastic. It has cleared the Rosacea I have been suffering on my face, with twice daily usage, in a matter of a week. I had noticeable results within the first few days of using it.I was a little wary of purchasing a soap at first, as I don't usually react well with them. Soaps leave my skin dry, tight and normally cause spot breakouts. This is unlike another soap. It is easy to work into a lather, rinses well and quickly, has a gorgeous refreshing lemon fragrance and leaves the skin feeling soft and clean. It's gentle, but effective.The value for money with the whole of the New Dawn products is fantastic. These a high quality toiletries, priced so reasonably. The range is extensive, with something for almost every skin ailment.I cannot express how grateful I am for this product. After years of paranoia regarding the redness on my face, I finally feel free and don't have to pile make up on my face daily. In just over a month of use, the results have been so dramatic, I can have make up free days and still feel every bit as confident as when I wear make up. Really nice soap. I use it twice a day on my face, it smells divine and is really gentle on my skin. I used to use a Simple 'Kind to Skin' facewash but I find this soap leaves my face softer, less dry and cleaner. I have large open pores and mild acne. I haven't noticed a big difference to my pores and the frequency of my break outs but the soap does seem to help reduce the redness of my spots. I've been using the bar for a week and there still seems to be a lot of soap left. I reckon it could last 6 weeks + for face washing so not bad value for money really. Just bought a money saver loaf, love it :)

You can tell this soap cleans you well as you literally get squeaky clean skin! I had problem skin for a few months (no idea why - I am 40 and never had skin issues prior so am assuming hormones/stress etc!) and it appeared to have helped reduce the inflammation and severity of outbreaks of spots - although I do only use it once a day now. I started to use it twice a day initially and it was very drying so I still got the breakouts. I found lessening its use and then using water in the morning more effective. It doesn't get rid of facial redness or spider veins of course, but did help as said with spots.I am updating my review and increasing from 4 to 5 stars! It still doesn't remove spider veins, but over time my redness has reduced, and I have ordered more of these. My skin has had no breakouts - I have used this now for over six months (just at night - previous comment about dryness when overusing this stands) but it is a wonderful product that has helped my skin, removes make up, smells heavenly and is a joy to use! I have since re-ordered every time I run out, and it is now my go-to soap! Try it!

If you have rosacea you will know about trying to find a solution - trawling the internet to purchase creams which end up not working and over the years costing you a fortune, eliminating different foods from your diet and taking antibiotics. Your search is over ! Like others I was wary about using a soap, especially with lemongrass in it as lemon is so astringent on the skin, but this leaves your skin feeling clean and not tight or dry - in fact it felt lovely and soft. I initially took my makeup off with a sensitive skin wipe and then followed the procedures with the leaflet that came with the soap. After rinsing and patting dry you could instantly see that the rosacea appears to fade away and that is with the first use. I first used the product in the evening and did not put anything else on my skin afterwards so the results would not be tainted by anything. Cannot praise this product enough. Oh and it smells lovely !

This is a good astringent and evened the tone of my skin, however it made my redness (rosacea) worse, particularly when used with tea tree oil. Further reading has suggested that astringents and strong-smelling fragranced (natural or otherwise) products - which defines this soap - ought to be avoided in the treatment of sensitive rosacea, psoriasis, eczema- prone skin.

I bought this alongside the moisturiser and my gripe with that allies to this also. It's is a very nice soap, smells nice and last a long time. However it did nothing at all for the purpose I bought it for, which was to help with Rosacea. I didn't think I would buy again

I developed Rosacea and was desperate to find something to calm it, without going down the antibiotic route.My face was red raw, rough as sandpaper and I wanted to rip it off, it was itching so much. I looked awful and felt even worse. Trawling through Amazon, I saw lots of products, but settled on this range, because of the reviews, the fact it was all natural and it was made in Wales!I also purchased the light lotion at the same time. I followed the instructions given on the helpful leaflet and cleansed my skin and followed with the lotion. It smells incredible! I was waiting for my skin to react badly, but it didn't, it felt soft and soothed and more like my face again. Within 2 days, the redness and spots had gone down. The itching and swelling had disappeared. My skin had become soft and smooth and I looked like a normal, middle-aged womoan again, not a terminally embarrassed teenager!I have been using it every day since, along with the lotion and I have had no further problems. I recently purchased the No.7 facial wash and rich cream, because I felt so confident in the range.(I bought the No.7 lotion too, so this review is copied and pasted from there, with a couple of changes. There is nothing fishy going on, I'm just too lazy to type it out again!)

I understand every person and skin is different but this product didn't work for me at all.I have sensitive skin and rosacea and it didn't do any good to my skin.
