BH-AW1 Auto Wheel Cleaner,1 Litre

I decided to clean my alloys that had not cleaned properly for maybe 2 years due to illness. I sprayed this product iaw the instructions and allowed it a few minutes to work on the dirt. The wheels duly turned a deep red from being a nasty brown colour and it was clear the stuff was working. I then hosed down the wheels with a jet and *********!!!!!!!!!!! WOW !!!!!!!!!!********, the rear wheels were bright and shiny and 90% of the dirt washed off the front wheels. I left the car about 15 minutes in the sun (Yes the Sun, bit of a novelty I know this year) to dry and repeated the process. The remainder of the dirt just washed away with no scrubbing or polishing. Absolutely amazing stuff and worth every penny of the extra cash.

This cleaner is amazing. The wheels on my car had got a bit neglected and I hadn't cleaned them for a while. They were very black with baked on brake dust. This cleaner got through the lot and left the wheels shining like a new pin. I thought it seemed expensive but now realise I will get many more cleans from this bottle as you don't need to use loads. Just follow the instructions and it works like magic. I used a small brush to agitate the fluid on the wheel as mine were a mess. Although I think it would have cleaned them regardless. Great product. On the back of this I will probably buy more Bilt Hamber products in future.

I sprayed it on my kerbed alloys first - they are an anthracite colour normally but after a rear brake issue were sticky brown. Needed a couple of applications of this product but most of the brake dust/fluid has lifted off. I was only using a nylon brush and water - power washer is at my kids place and there's nearly a drought in Berkshire. Then I used it on the Mrs's CX5 silver alloys. They have some stubborn brake dust on the fronts and some alloy rash. The product clearly turns a crimson red (and I am colour blind). Left it on for a few minutes then washed it off with soapy water and a sponge. Wheels look new with minimum effort on my part. On the face of it it seems like an expensive product. But for me it worked excellently and that time I would have spent with other products is more valuable to me than the "cost" of the product. Focus on the value.

One of the better wheel cleaners on the market, I've used meguiars ultimate, turtle wax, all of them... This is a premium product and it does the job well, however there are cheaper alternatives that offer the same level of effectiveness. It takes awhile to dig into the deep brake dust of your vehicle so I'd recommend letting it sit for around 3 minutes before spraying off, or even better use snow foam as a layer on top then use a wheel brush to really get into it.

Over the years I have bought lots of products to clean wheels and all have come up short. This has the be the easiest and best product I have ever used on wheels. Spray it on and watch it work and spray it with a good hose and yes it is as good as everyone says. I used it on the wife's car and the wheels look brand new again inside and out. No need to scrub or use tools or any scrubbing just spray, leave and rinse off brilliant. I will be getting more and advising family of it's value and simple use.

This stuff is impressive! My other half bought this, looking for something to better clean the diamond cut alloys on our Peugeot 3008, and it didn’t disappoint!! He has used lots of other products, which also turn the brake dust purple and do an adequate job of cleaning, but OMG, this stuff took EVERYTHING off, and within seconds too. Ground in brake dust totally gone, even on the callipers look like they’ve just come out of a box, ever, just vanished. Rinsed with a hose, gave them another spray of product and agitated with a brush, another rinse off with the hose and the wheels look like they’ve come straight out of the showroom - not a spec of brake dust in sight. My other half said it was well worth the money and will never use another product again. He was that impressed he even cleaned the wheels on the car of the nurse who lives next door, just for the sheer fun of it!! 😂

Wow.... You get what you pay for, this really is great product. I cleaned one wheel briefly before application using the pressure washer (didn't do much except knock the dirt and mud off), then tried just applying the product to another dirty one in a dry condition, after application waited for it to change colour (less than 4 minutes, proceeded with light agitation with a soft brush, after pressure washing off both wheels came out the same. Although not acrid, I can say its still pretty pungent stuff (*Strong smelling), excused by the fact its working on some nasty baked on debris I would imagine the majority of the whiff is from the reaction with the grime! - However, the results were equally as pungent!. I would totally recommend this stuff...!. My wheels were black on the inside before I started, now as clean as they can be (for 13 year old alloys). After drying I gave the alloys a light polish and buffed to a nice shiny original colour... the only problem now is I have to wash and polish the rest of the car to match ;-)

Absolutely the best wheel cleaner I’ve ever used.

I recently had the chance to try out Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel on the alloy wheels of my Subaru, and I have to say, I was really impressed with its performance. This pH neutral wheel cleaner requires minimal agitation and is designed to deeply clean the most stubborn road dirt and grime from wheels, without damaging them. One of the things I really liked about this product was its thick and clingy consistency, which meant I didn't waste much of it while using. It also turned purple as it worked on brake dust, making it easy to see where it was most effective. Even without much agitation, the product ate into baked-in dust and pitting on the wheels, leaving them squeaky clean after just a rinse with the garden hose. Overall, I found Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel to be a highly effective and easy-to-use product that is also great value for its price. The only downside I found was that it doesn't smell amazing, but that's a small price to pay for such an effective wheel cleaner.

It is the best wheel cleaner I have ever used. A bad boy! I will order it again. The inside if the rims is clean after rinsing only, no scrubbing ! Also the tires, after a good rub, they are looking like new.
