A small sturdy tripod thats easy to use.
Very sturdy for such a small and simple tripod - easily took the weight of a Canon DSLR fitted with a 24 -105 Zoom very stable. Fits easily into my medium sized Lowenpro Camera Bag. Ball head is easy to adjust and stays put when locked, as you should expect from a tripod. Great performance at this price point.

Great tripod even better mini tripod leg
As a mini tripod it's probably one of the best designed out there. The legs are long for more stability if working on a desk and it has a strong build that's solid for entry level dslr or mirrorless camera. This is great since it has a load capacity of 1-1.5kg. If you have the right mount adaptor you can also mount a phone with a mic and led panel comfortably. The ball head is very strong and will allow a good level of freedom when tilting, but don't expect this to work with a full dslr rig. Of course it does have its limitations. The main one being that you can't mount long lenses but since its for vlogging i don't see myself using anything heavier than 50 or 85mm prime lens. The tripod is very small and light so it can fit comfortably into a bag or your back pocket. They do advertise that it can be used as a handle but that's only if you attach a proper tripod head since it doesn't offer a lot of length in your hand. It is however very good as a tripod leg or handle for other gear like a gimble or extension pole so i can always find a use for it. Over all its a pretty decent buy and it does the job well when i need it the most whether i'm working in the studio or on the go, so its worth considering when filming home videos.

Excellent bit of kit.
The mini tripod came packaged well, as with all Manfrotto products it arrived in perfect condition. The packaging is nicely designed in Manfrotto's usual style and it screams quality from the moment you look at it. Once I got it out of the packaging it was clear that this is no cheap bit of plastic. The tripod is solid and sturdy. Although it is made from plastic it is very good quality plastic and it's clear that it will last a lifetime if cared for. The ball head is easy to operate but a little stiff which is imperative to keeping the camera stable whilst on the tripod. I wouldn't recommend greasing the ball had as it may lose the grip. Once again I will reiterate the stiffness is imperative to keeping the ball head where you position it when the camera weight is added to the top. Any bad reviews based on this are simply because they haven't realised that. The tripod is easy to use. You simply screw it into the tripod screw underneath your camera. Once your camera is in its very easy to adjust the ball head using the red button and is very sturdy and secure. In terms of weight, my dslr and my favorite walkabout lens weigh roughly 1.2kg - 1.5kg off the top of my head and my lens is a 16-85mm, and even at 85mm yjr tripod is perfectly secure as long as you keep one of the legs positioned under the lens for extra support. If you try to face the camera as far down towards the floor as you can with the lens extended to 85mm then it starts to topple, but in the real world you would never do that as you wouldn't be able to focus that close to the floor at 85mm even with a macro lens. The legs seem sturdy, and incredibly well made as always from Manfrotto, they are definitely sturdy enough to stand up to time. I should imagine that the ball head will die before the legs of the tripod. They are easy to adjust, and have little rubber feet on the bottom which gives the tripod just that little bit more sturdiness. Amazingly cheap and the quality is not at all compromised for the price. Well worth a buy. Small enough to always carry in your camera bag for those times when you don't want to carry a full sized tripod, or just want a quick setup for a quick shot. Excellent bit of kit and it'd always going to be there when you need it unlike a full sized tripod. Also gives a low down perspective which isn't always perfect, and won't always be useful, but there's always benches, walls, tables, car's etc. Another bonus is that those low down shots give a nice perspective that we don't normally see with the human eye. Couldn't recommend enough.

Mini tripod for amateur use.
I bought this tripod for my Sony NEX 3N, to use it in conditions where you need longer exposure times. I was putting my camera on the ground or on different things to support it but you don't always have the angle/direction you want using the environment and besides that, your camera gets dirty or you scratch it. So a light, compact, portable tripod is the solution. I just received the tripod yesterday and I already like it. It has a good build quality, the materials are of good quality and nice to the touch. It is very light and easy to handle, both with the legs closed or opened. The camera is attached relatively easy and I understand the screw is universal. To adjust/tilt the camera once attached, you have to press the red button. When you let go of it, it locks in that position. However the button is a little hard to press. It is no problem when there is no camera attached(that doesn't help), but with the camera in place, it is a little difficult, especially it you try to make minor adjustments. Maybe it will loosen up in time/with use. Attention not to drop the tripod on a hard surface, as I am not sure the button would resist a direct hit. The legs open/close individually very easy. There are rubber tips at the end of each leg to prevent sliding. The rubber tips don't look very solid and I am not sure how long they will stay in place. Time will tell. The tripod is not very tall(when closed, approx. as long as your palm) and it is very light. You can even leave it attached to your camera for short periods, to avoid the in/out operation. You have to pay attention if you want to put it on an inclined surface. Once you attach the camera, the center of gravity is pretty high, especially for heavy/long lenses and it could fall - depending on how inclined the surface is and how heavy is your camera. Can't wait to take it in my holiday and experiment with the camera's settings that need stability and steadiness.

-Manfrotto quality is superb! -This product is simple in its design and function and has a very sturdy feel and quality to it. It is VERY durable and the black finish is very elegant -It is made of die-cast steel, aluminum and very little plastic. It came at a great price and was the lowest price on Amazon anywhere -It served its function perfectly as a great tripod to put my cell phone on, with the use of a rotating cell phone holder (tripod mount holder) -It has good rubber feet so that it won't scratch any surfaces it is placed on -It is fairly light weight and I pack it in my backpack for use when I'm travelling -The push button to adjust the tilt and rotation of the camera deck is very strong and sturdy and has a quality feel and function to it Overall, this is a great product and was exactly what I was looking for. I take it with me in my back pack on trips away from home. It's powder coated legs won't scratch or chip. I will buy Manfrotto camera accessories in the future, because of their great quality and value. This Amazon seller had the best price for this product anywhere on the internet.

This is for the Tripod only. Not the attached phone holder. Nothing negative to say about this tripod. It’s a great small tripod. Sturdy and well made. Easy to adjust the tilt and angle of the “ball” due to its easy button lock system. My go to no fuss easy to use mini tripod.

The Swiss army knife of tripods. You don’t need to be a photographer or vlogger to appreciate this. It’s so useful for positioning phone for video calls at a nice height or webcam or a usb mic. It also looks very handsome and iconic on the table. Impeccable finish. Solid. The Manfrotto Italian family is known for making some of the best tripods in the world. This Pixi is just a table mini tripod but it’s heritage, build quality and innovation is clear to see. It’s like an ibm thinkpad. Iconic, lasting. Timeless. It’s not expensive so I think I’d recommend it for almost anyone working from home or makes video calls with a mobile device. Very functional more than anything. You’re more likely to pick this up for convenience than a Gorillapod (which has its uses, taller) if you go out in my opinion to be discreet. On a desk it’s elegant enough you won’t be embarrassed if its on a worktop or if you haven't hidden it away in a drawer. Note: To get a little more height (4-5 cm more, over the original 13cm height), you can choose not to fully expand the friction fit legs on an indoor table for a group photo, compromising some lower center of gravity stability for height. The Pixi is still quite well balanced. For most phones, compact devices, microphones, digital recorders and compact cameras this is less an issue. For heavy dslrs, with an awkward center of gravity due to lens configurations your experience may vary. In those instances, you are already kitted out with normal tripods.
