Loved this - My daughter used it for Halloween. She's very tall and had no problem with it. If buying for a child, bear in mind you can take one section out to make it shorter. It broke on its first outing, but that's because a particularly large zombie trod on the hollow plastic blade bit.!

This will work quite well with my dad's costume.Yes it's plastic but it will do the job and doesn't feel like it will break after 30 minutes like some others feel.It's a bit "Flexible" as in it will bend quite easily.Still would recommend it though.

This is a fairly cheap, plasticky, light-weight scythe for a one-off halloween costume. It comes in sections which screw together and I'm sure will last one halloween in some form or other. It's isn't particularly rugged toy though. 5 minutes of enthusiastic swinging will have this thing in pieces. You can fix that by glueing sections of wood into the joints. In honesty most people will buy this, let their kids take it trick or treating once - then throw what's left of it in the bin. It wasn't expensive though. It's fine for what it is. If your kid wants a grim reaper costume, this would make a fine prop to go with it. Just don't expect it to last for years and years.

Really fun item, easy to assemble and looks good too. got this as a replacement for an older one of the same as it broke (after 2 years). not the most sturdy, but lightweight and easy to assemble, I now have a couple of spare parts to make it longer. It could do with being a bit tougher but otherwise a good toy.

The media could not be loaded. Good plastic scythe for a kid or someone looking for something to have fun, obviously a toy but realistic enough to use at night at Halloween. It's made of light plastic. My kid loved it as part of a costume. Good value for money.

So cheap and flimsy bought for Halloween outfits for my sons they literally got them put them together waved them around for a bit and the heads came off weren’t being rough with them or fighting with them I know they’re cheap but surely they should last longer than 5 mins! We will fix them but just be aware they are very weak and won’t stand any sort of movement other than just holding it still or laying it in a corner somewhere!!

Perfect addition to my Grim Reaper costume! Arrives in about 6 separate pieces and you just have to slightly srcew them together.

Bought for my son for Christmas he had been asking for one for ages. I wasn’t to impressed one of the pieces of the stick but wouldn’t screw into the other bits and tried all different ways like swapping the pieces around and when you did try put any force when fighting it started to like go inwards, wasn’t to much of a problem because it was tall if you had all bits of the stick together so having one bit not on didn’t matter to my son as it was a good size for him. It is very cheaply made tho like it’s flimsy and quite bendy the plastic isn’t at all one bit strong.
