An excellent product - but be prepared to lose it!
This is a really neat little product. I've used the motor arrangement to power a small balsa glider with some success, but you will NEVER have seen a paper aeroplane fly like this... Beware you need a large space (i.e. a field not a garden) and still air! in good condition this thing flies and flies. A well constructed paper plane (with instructions and the heavy paper provided) will climb to 30-40ft and fly for 30+ seconds, and on one occasion it circled us 3 times before levelling out and flying the entire diagonal length of a 10 acre field, landing in a puddle! It could easily have been a full loss but the electrics still work. A really fun idea but sadly one that will not last I fear!

I prefer the free version! Power-Down version 1, the unassisted paper aeroplane.
When I saw the Youtube video for this I thought "Gotta have it" but after buying I'm a little dissappointed! What's good is that all you need is 3 AA bateries to get going, it even has the paper to make your plane. What it can't do and I don't expect it to really, is resist the wind and fly. Let's face it! A paperplane outside is a bad idea and that's where this product falls down. So after battling I took the plane inside but the electric motor didn't have enough power to fly from my hand. After throwing the plane I soon run out of room to fly. However it's not all bad! After following the construction guide I have now learnt how to fold an amazing paper aeroplane. My sons and I no longer use the electric propeller, instead we find the best indoor fun by folding a simple yet very effective paper aeroplane.

Makes paper planes cool!
A pretty cool toy that I got for my boyfriend for Christmas. He had a lot of fun hurling paper planes at breakables! It comes with a good number of instructions so that the engineers among you can customise and improve the flights. You can also fold your own designs too. The battery length is ok. We've never flown it straight till it ran out as it's usually hit something first, so I can't say how long it would go for exactly, but long enough that you'll have a lot of fun with it. Would recommend as a fun, quirky (and not too expensive) gift for someone (or yourself!).

Works well
Powered my paper aeroplane directly into my partners head at great speed, probably requires better aiming.
