A great piece of kit
So far I've achieved excellent sound quality and results with acoustic instruments. Glad I spent the extra over the AT2020. A no brainer when the lower noise threshold and the inclusion of the shock mount are factored in. Unbeatable at this price level.

Audio Techinca 2035 Mic
Love the sound quality along with really sturdy build quality. Better than expected. Works really well with the scarlet solo. Bonus mic holder included.

Fantasic Microphone
This is a fantastic entry level microphone for anyone wanting to have a standalone XLR microphone + Headphones. Sound is clear and the mic does a good job of cancelling unnesscary noise in the background and build quality it great if you like that dark metal look/feel. I have a large tower fan behind me and leave my window open most of the day with heavy traffic and have no issues with the mic picking up this noise. You'll need to use this with a Audio Interface/Mixer with 48V of Phantom Power, I pair this with a wave XLR from Elgato.

Needs testing through a mixer. I have bought a lot of AT stuff, and have been impressed with the lot of it.It has a German minimalist feel to it,. This mike has been used to record a digital piano. Pianos are notoriously difficult to record, Had an AT shotgun mic at the bass end of the piano. A sound engineer suggested I should reverse the arrangement for an upcoming recording of a classical pianist. So I did, letting the Audio-Technica 20 Series AT2035 Cardioid Condenser record the top to middle of the piano, and the AT shotgun record the bass. Great, The Mix Pre D helped me sort out the levels and the results were very good. Ive been worrying about this gig for a while, so am very happy with this great mic.Correctly positioned on a boom mic stand it did a great job , I used the AT monitor headphones to catch the audio, and the combination surpassed my expectations .The Audio-Technica 20 Series AT2035 Cardioid Condenser Side Address Microphone is a great product, just make sure you have the active side of the mic facing yr audio.

Can't go wrong
Have this mic and have had it for years with a RODE arm and pop filter paired with a Focusrite interface and i love it, the quality is amazing, allows me to not need headphones with a mic and it's easy to travel with as it came with a nice pouch.

Great mic, good price
Arrived quickly, exactly as described. This mic has a very natural sound and is suitable for many recordings such as voice, guitar, overheads, sax. I use it on everything without worrying, and recordings always come out full of character. Don't think you can do much better for large diaphragms for the price.
