Yum Asia304 Stainless Steel Rice Washing Bowl (22cm) with Silicone Base and Handle

Absolutely love this. Saw it when buying new rice cooker from same company. Existing plastic bowl was far too small for family of 4 but this one is more than adequate. Very easy to wash the rice due to size of bowl and the strainer part works really well. No rice can escape over the top either during straining. Like the stand on the bottom of bowl so it can stand on bench. Large handle makes it easy to transfer rice to my rice cooker. Highly recommend this product.

Excellent Rice bowl, good quality. Very useful, not just for rice, I use it to soak lentils and clean vegetables. Nice sturdy rubber feet

I'll start off with what I disliked about the product. The odd grain of rice can get stuck in the little holes. Be careful when opening for the first time and washing it. I ended up with a metal splinter. I think it was something left over from the holes being created.What I like is the design. It makes draining pasta or rice super easy. No more loss in the sink (or minimal at least). Washing rice is great too, there is room in the bottom of the bowl to swirl the rice around. It was easy to clean after being used and has a non-slip base and handle. I know it's a little on the pricer side, but it is honestly worth it.

Super speedy delivery, well-packaged. Absolutely perfect for its function - I love the drainage, I love the silicon on the base for stability and the stainless steel is exactly what I'm looking for. A couple of grains of jasmine rice do sometimes stick in the holes when rinsing, but it's perfectly easy to just poke them back in. I've recommended them to everyone I know who's sick of having to use a sieve and a bowl to check that their rice or lentil water is running clear! It is a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the functionality, the stainless steel bowl, and the speedy delivery.

Really good. I like it. First time we have had one like this. Amazed at the amount of starch is removed and how clean the rice becomes which helps the rice to cook so much better.

Really useful piece of kit, especially for my disabled son. The rubber base is non-slip, making it easy for him to use. I like the fact you can leave rice, or fruit and vegetables soaking (unlike usual colanders), then pour out the water via the high level holes later.

Medium-sized but sturdy, it's beneficial; I wash and drain all my vegetables and pasta in it.

Having read so many reviews I was really hoping to like this as it resolved 2 issues.First rice rinsing - I would say this is adequate, but what I don't like is how many rice grains get stuck in the holes and believe me they are sharp when you are trying to push them through.Second - Soaking the rice is very good as you can input sufficient rice for family and leave soaking without water draining until you tip to side to drain it yourself.Summary: Not sure how long this will be out in my kitchen as I think I prefer my original colander. Plus the size of a large pan and where to store, whereas my colanders all stack inside each other.
