Excellent
Works great…..I was concerned that it might not be powerful enough but the water pressure is more than adequate & the battery holds plenty of charge. My only criticism is the charging cable - it is large & bulky - why no simple USB-C socket? The next version seriously needs this.Overall I am very happy….this travels with me everywhere…..recommend

Better than older version
Used the older version for years but it stopped working. This newer version has everything that's good about the older version but with welcome improvements to the design. Namely its much easier to remove the reservoir so it can dry out properly and avoid nasties growing between the sliding part. There's a nice little side compartment to store the tip with the overall flosser becoming very compact and taking up much less room when travelling compared to the older version. Also cheaper than other water flosser products but still gets the job done. Great for when you're don't have the time or struggle with flossing with string.

Even Panasonic don’t sell replacements nozzles for this model
I bought the travel model oral irrigator model EW-DJ4B knowing that it came with 1 nozzle but I thought that I could buy more nozzles from Panasonic or Amazon, how wrong I was. I phoned Panasonic and after a lengthy phone call I was told that they don’t sell the nozzles for this model and couldn’t tell be where I could buy them. I searched Amazon, EBay and a Google search and couldn’t find the correct ones.It says in the instructions that came with the item to change the nozzle every 6 months, how is that possible if they don’t sell replacement nozzles.I have returned the item to Amazon and now waiting for a refund. There are at least 2 other reviews on Amazon giving the same review but I didn’t find them until it was too late for me.Buyer beware.

Edited: Compact, easy to use and clean - but can't find replacement nozzles
Edited: The operating instructions say that the nozzle should be replaced every six months -- but I can't find the replacement parts! This is quite disappointing, so I have had to downgrade my review. I will continue to use this until it dies, I guess, but that means disregarding Panasonic's 'hygiene reasons' for nozzle replacement. This water flosser was a great choice for me. I had been using the 'big name' brand, but I needed a new one. This Panasonic compares favourably in all areas.- More compact: I can fit in in my bathroom cabinet, without having it 'on display' when guests visit. I could easily travel with it, even in a carry-on.- Easier to clean: Comes apart more easily for cleaning. In fact, it doesn't get as grungy in the first place because it has fewer nooks and crannies.- Uses fewer batteries, and they are easier to change.- The tip is more flexible, and doesn't feel it could break as easily.I've seen criticism that the batteries don't last long, but I don't find that. I use rechargeables, so it's really no trouble to deal with the batteries.Others have said it's not powerful enough, but it's been fine for me. I use it in the morning and floss at night. I don't have braces or anything like that, so my needs aren't very complicated.

Improved replacement
Seems an improvement on previous model which had died, though slightly bulkier.

Replaceable rechargeable batteries
After 7 months it works very well. I used the previous model for about 10 years and was a bit more convenient.

Expensive, bulky and unnecessary for most people
Too big to be practical as a travel item. Might be useful for someone wearing a mouth brace but otherwise dental floss is more than adequate and a lot cheaper.
