This hand cream is so amazing, it's almost like magic. I had a very traumatic experience that triggered OCD and PTSD, and as such I do a lot of hand washing. I mean A LOT. I was having major issues with my hands being very, very dry from washing, sanitizing, etc. Tons of cracking and bleeding on my skin. I tried so many creams. Unscented, sensitive skin, you name it, I probably tried it. Most of them were just okay, and all of them STUNG. Even ones marketed for cracked, dry skin burned SO BADLY on cracked skin. However Soap & Glory Hand Food literally saved me. It's smooth, creamy, SUPER moisturizing and it DOES NOT BURN if you put it on cracked/broken skin! Plus, the scent is amazing! It's got a bit of a floral 80s/90s scent that's just super nostalgic for me. I highly recommend this hand cream!

Not really greasy at all, just takes some time to absorb. Idk. Greasy is relative. My skin is so dry sometimes I just slather on olive oil if I'm cooking because I'm constantly rinsing my hands. What matters is it's effective and it's one of the few products that's cruelty free (or so it claims) and still has a strong luxurious scent and formula that doesn't become rancid after a month.

This lotion is GREAT! It leaves my hands moisturized and soft! You don't need to use a lot to achieve desired moisture. It's moderately priced, but it is well worth the money!

I assume they're getting rid of the original Hand Food and moving to this balm formula. It feels just like the original just more moisturizing. More like a body butter texture than creamy. It moisturizes my hands perfectly, no sticky feeling. I do feel a protective film, which is perfect to me. I also love love the smell. Some reviewers are claiming the bottle is half full, but there is a fill line inside and that's where my balm stops. So, I believe that is full, just because it isn't packed to the top doesn't mean it isn't full.

Absolutely heartbroken this was discontinued. This product was amazing, had a light scent, non-greasy almost watery feel after rubbing in, and a single container lasted about a year between my fiancé and I using it at least weekly.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I always wanted to try this brand, I would see it all the time but never gave it a chance. But once I tried it on, I was so glad I did! I work in healthcare and need something that is going to last with me washing my hands all the time but also not make it hard for me to put gloves on or pick up the phone. Greasiness: Not greasy at all when you properly apply and rub it into your hands. Quality: Very good quality for the price, it is thick but goes on so smooth, my boyfriend noticed a difference IMMEDIATELY after using it. Scent: And their original scent is amazing, nothing too overpowering but will also still catch peoples attention.

The container was less than half full and very hard. It was not as creamy as I expected from the photos, but more like beeswax or the consistency of chapstick. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch or if it’s supposed to be like this, but it was so thick it hurt to put on my cracked hands! My hands are still cracked after a week of using. I will try the body butter or hand cream instead.

This stuff is amazing. Nothing touches my cracked skin on my hands, but this stuff softens and heals it. I first tried it as part of a FabFitFun box choice - and was disappointed when Walgreens didn't carry tis particular balm. Amazon to the rescue! The scent is pleasant, light. Moisture is great.
