Pros: These Blum slides are worth the money, and this was a good deal on six of them. So much cooler than side-mount drawer slides. The slides are reasonably forgiving in terms of alignment. The action is smooth, and the self-close is a wonder of engineering design. I could stare at them closing all day. Unavoidable: As for installing the slides, cabinets are tight spaces, and it would help to be a Hobbit. Cons: The packaging used to send these was, ahem, minimal. Scarcely thicker than a shoebox. Six of these weigh about 40-50 lbs, so the box was nearly falling apart when it arrived. I would suggest a few extra pieces of cardboard. I mounted these directly to the 'floor' of the cabinet, and as such, I needed the #6 Truss head screws ...which did not come with the kit. A quick trip to the hardware store solved that, but it seems like an oversight. When I ordered a single pair of these slides from another vendor, it came with the truss head screws. It was a small disappointment in an otherwise good experience.

High-End Quality for a Custom Kitchen Got these at the request of my carpenter husband, who is building our kitchen cabinets. If you’re aiming for a high-end kitchen, these are the drawer slides to get—they’re the go-to choice for top cabinet makers. We’ve installed one drawer so far, and it looks fantastic and functions perfectly. My husband says they’re easy to install (though he does this professionally, so beginners might want to consult a YouTube tutorial). Highly recommend Blum for anyone who wants reliable, top-quality hardware with a great reputation. You won’t be disappointed!

I would have given them five stars if I were installing then during the fabrication of new cabinets. But because I am a DYIer installing them in an existing cabinet accessing the rear of the cabinet to install the rear brackets is challenging for a 65 year old, short armed stocky guy I gave them three stars for easy to install. From the pictures you can see that I had to add 1”-3/4” plywood to the rear for the 21” rails. This did take some creativity and ingenuity but definitely made it easier to install the rear brackets. Also I had to fabricate new drawers to install these rails and remove a portion of the original upper wood drawer tracks to accommodate the new drawers. I chose not to purchase the drill jigs which would have make it easier but using their instructions, drawing and dimensions is was fairly easy. Once installed the rail extension and retraction is smooth with full extension and excellent soft close action.

Giving these 3 stars due to the lack of adjustability. The photos do not show adjustment but the description says “4D adjustable”. They in fact are not adjustable. I didn’t know that Blum offered non-adjustable slides but live and learn. They’re smooth and work as designed, just can’t adjust with the clips.

The slides themselves are great, I've been using them for years. The box these came in was falling apart and one of the clips was damaged. I think it would still have worked, but I used an extra on I had on hand, so I didn't bother returning it. If you get these slides I recommend purchasing the jigs that make it easy to drill the holes for the clips and the hole for the metal prong on the end of the slide.

I’m a beginner woodworker, but after watching a YouTube video, I was able to install these drawer slides without a problem. They glide smoothly and feel very sturdy—I used them on a large drawer, and they work great. I’ll definitely be using these again for future projects

Used these a number of times for retrofit on replacement drawer boxes. They are time consuming to install but it gets easier as you do more of them. I strongly recommend the Blum installation tool. it is a great time saver and assures proper hole alignment for mounting on the drawers. These slides have a great open close action and the ability to lift off the drawer box after they are installed is a big plus with my customers. They are a bit pricey but the end result is superior.
