Fits 2009 Cadillac escalade
Fits with no modifications... should fit Chevy avalanche.. I swear everyone should get this.... Had it for couples months no problems and nothing is in the way mad definitely recommend everyone having this..

Worked for 6 months, just broke
I barely ever use my tailgate on my truck and it has been on it for 6 months. i put it down and back up maybe a week ago and when i put it down this time it slammed down and the rod is bent and is leaking all the fluid leaked out so i’m guessing cheap seals. would love to get a replacement since it isn’t even a year old

Great Addon But Lacks Quality
This is a must have for trucks. This particular model is good but not great. It does its job by slowing the tailgate when opened but it slows it too much compared to other products. The instructions are lacking. I kne who to install it because I owned one from another brand and already had an idea how to.Recently the thread from the piton to the swivel mount failed and I had to re-attach and reinforce the union.Overall a must have but maybe not this brand.
