Good quality, very pretty, the perfect addition to a large gallery wall

I was somewhat disappointed. Just seemed a little dimunitive. I was expecting something a bit more weighty. The write up says that the frame can hang vertically or horizonally which is true, however it cannot stand in either direction. I did not realize this until after I had cut my photo to fit the frame!! Now the photo wont go in another frame bc it is cut. I managed to find a stand that the frame will fit in but it doesn't look all that great. Oh well.

I was excited to get this frame for a very special picture of my mother, who I loved very much. There were some things that made it difficult to get the picture in the frame, and up on the wall where I wanted it. The first thing I noticed was that the gold sheds little tiny gold spots, so I cleaned off the glass before putting the picture in. The frame was for a 5 x 7 picture, but you have to cut the corners off your picture, which is not easy as the glass does not come out of the frame (so you can use it as a traceable piece, so as to cut your picture to the correct dimensions). There was also some little piece of cardboard from the inside edge of the bottom of the frame that was sticking out, so I had to tuck that in so it didn't stick out in front of the picture. Then every time I got the picture in the frame, I'd notice one of those little gold flecks on the picture itself, or on the glass, and I'd have to take the pic out to clean it AGAIN. Of course, the picture doesn't lay flush when hung on the wall, because it has the foot/stand for use as a picture on a table. Luckily I positioned it so it leans a little toward me, in my kitchen on the wall, so my momma can be there with me, her only daughter. It does look pretty on the wall, but for the money, I thought it was a little aggravating to get it to completion. Oh, and the back is not all that sturdy. I've bought classier, sturdier frames at Home Goods.

Antique look, attractive, easy to install picture and hang. Great buy.

As shown in photos, arrived with black nicks in the gold paint. Uneven coating all around. Looks cheap. It also doesn’t arrive with any image inside, unlike what is shown in the photos or what is standard for nearly any frame you’d purchase. Looks like something I’d find at the Goodwill that has been pre-used and donated, rather than something I purchased brand new. : /

I put my father's army picture in it. I love it!
