Nice Tie Tac !!!
This is an innovative product that should have been thought of years ago! These magnets securely hold the two parts of one’s tie firmly together without piercing them with a pin (and thus eventually ruining them). One can also put the back magnet behind one’s shirt and have the unit keep the tie firmly in place. I prefer to use another product in addition to this product to accomplish keeping the tie in place. See the plastic tie stays that slip over one’s buttons (sold by “TIEALIGN” on Amazon), and use then in conjunction with the tie magnets to have a perfectly functioning tie holder that is extremely stylish and quite versatile.

Very strong magnet
Nice design. Magnet is strong so it will stick to anything metal you get close to. Priced a little high, but overall satisfied with product.

Perfect solution to collar issues.
I bought 2 to use as collar tamers. I have a vest with a zip up collar that would bother me while working. These mags allow me to keep the collar out of my face and neck area and allow me to manage it without damaging the vest or collar. Plus they look stylish.

Don’t buy this!! Not worth $30! Buy anything else!
First day of using it, separated the magnets, affixed one part to back of tie, and the other part automatically magnetized to it. That’s great, just like a magnet should. Except the whole front piece snapped in two like a cookie. Literally first time using it! What kind of cheap materials are they using for $30 a pop?!?! Skip this and just buy a regular magnet for $1-5. Definitely not worth this overpriced $30 price tag. And it’s so small you couldn’t even see the design before it broke.

The Tie mag which we just received looks like it is going to solve the problem
We have constantly had problems with tie tacks that have to pierce the tie parts and then anchor the tie. The Tie mag which we just received looks like it is going to solve the problem. The magnet is very strong. The tie stays put. I'm glad someone has recognized the problem for senior citizens who have trouble manipulating the standard tie tacks, and end up dropping the back part on the floor or not getting the pin into the holder.

Snazy, doesn't damage the tie, and does its job
I like tie clips, but the wide ranging of age of my ties means I have a variety of widths that makes grabbing the right tie clip when everything is still dark difficult. This tie magnet serves the purpose of the clip and the tie's width doesn't matter. It looks great - I just wish they weren't $30 a pop.

Better than pins or clips, but . . .
Thus far, this product works great. Much better than pins or even clips. However, I would like to see it in more shapes. Especially holiday shapes. Also, the price seems a bit high for a magnet. How about a shamrock for St. Patrick’s Day? A heart for Valentine’s Day? A Christmas Tree, snow man or Santa?
