As expected..

Overall product is as expected but the backboard was very scratched up. Appears it was either damaged or used and not new.

The pump was missing the needle and since it is not standard size needle we could not pump the ball that came with the hoop.

Very cheap material specially the plastic board ( very thin ), the only padding available is on the edges at the back which makes it noisy and bend.

My biggest concern is dimensions, I brought the XL model which is 23 by 16 inches but I've received 11 by 17 inches sized board, which is disappointing.The board as it's shown in the images does not have sklz pro markings at all, all you get is a Chinese installation pamphlet. Acrylic Board, though wrapped in plastic does feel a little used.Ball as advertised is not orange but is blue and doesn't have any brand marking.Overall I'd still not give it such a low rating based on aesthetics but I'm disappointed by the incorrect size that they've advertised and have delivered.

This is a great indoor basketball hoop. I chose this hoop primarily because of the size. It's larger than most. It's quick and easy to set up. While it does have a dunking mechinisim on the hoop the backboard itself is too flimsy to support it. We've used this on closet doors and even our front door. We have no issues fully closing the door that it is on and the hoop can fold up if you need to make it more compact for opening a door in tighter spaces! We've loved playing this as a family!

Assembly was not as hard as we anticipated. We are using this indoors in our basement and the kids love it. You do need to make sure base is secure so it doesn’t tip over. Great quality overall

This is our second skilz system hoop. Our first one lasted a long time and was outside in the northern Pennsylvania elements. We use this as a basketball hoop for our pool. The backboard finally broke one day when our son was making a basket, perhaps it was his strength and ability? LOL.Ordered this new hoop and the 15 year old was easily able to put it together with the help of his friend. The only complaint I have is that the net it came with did not fit the rim. It was much too small. Having said this, I had been looking for a net for the old hoop prior to it breaking and and been unable to find one that fit. the replacement net on skilz website was out of stock for months on end. I was hoping this would come with a net that fit and we would be set. No such luck. I have had to use a regulation size net and let a few of the loops dangle.It is also important to note that replacement parts are generally available on the skilz website. Our last hoop fell over in a windstorm and the rim bent. There are only so many times you can bend them back into place before they break. You can order replacement rims, which are then quite easy to replace. Replacement rim bought us many more years with our last hoop. Unfortunately, an entire backboard was not on the replacement parts list so here we are - hoop number 2.This gets a ton of use with two boys and all their friends with an above ground pool. We leave it out year round and have had minimal rust on our previous systems. Make sure you fill it with water and use a rock or some other weight for extra support if you live in an area that is prone to high wind though.
