These are very lightweight plastic. I'm sure that's why they are a lot less expensive than the mats I've had in the past. The one I'm using has started stretching and bunching up (after less than one week) under my desk and chair legs. I'm using it on a very low-pile carpet. When I purchased the product the description said it was for hard floors and "shallow carpet". I received a reply from the seller that they are for carpet and that I wasn't using it correctly. Since my purchase and review the description has been changed to delete the reference to carpet. I think the seller should have refunded my money and given me a free return - but they didn't.

Bigger than what I expect. Very good quality. I put one under the office chair on the hard wood floor, and place the second one in the room to avoid the chair wheels mark on the rug. They both fit the area perfectly. I bought several rug mats for my office chair before, but they are very light and move as the chair moves. These two mats are heavier than a usual rug mat, so it is a little sticky on the wood floor and doesn't move at all. Now, I can wheel my chair freely without any worries :).

Thought about buying a chair mat a long time ago, cuz the floor was scratched all over the place by my chair wheels. Compared to other chair mats on Amazon, this one is probably the cheapest one, and it looks pretty decent in the picture, so I decided to chip in with my roommate on this 2 pieces chair mat.When I receive the package, it took me a while to unwrap it because the seller did really good job at protecting the product from being damaged during delivering. There is a slip inside the package telling you how to flatten mat in a short time of period (The product will be rolled up when they send you). The mat is about 1.5mm thick, but it feels very solid. I'm planing on buying another 2 pieces, and cut them up into pieces and put them to where my floor got most damage from furniture.

Nice matt, but it doesn't work well on carpet, it is not heavy enough. The wheels cause the matt to bunch when you try to move, makes it harder to move. It is good on hard wood floors except it slides around too much, needs something on the bottom to keep it in place.

These are so thin and move constantly. They do not stay in place. With every movement and the weight of my chair, it moves and curls up. Would not recommend these. Very cheap.

I received this item on Mar 27, 2018. Here's a list of what I don't like about this product:1- It took a while to flatten out, by the lip area.2- It slides/slip and tends to rotate on my hardwood floor.3- Very thin/soft. My chair coasters already ripped a small piece of the mat while rolling over it.If you need a floor mat that won't slide/slip on your hardwood floors, then this product is not for you.***On the plus side, it does protect my hardwood floors from scratches***

These mats are very, very thin. I don't think they will be saving my carpets from my desk chair. I should have known when I saw a pack of two for this price. There are no points on the underside to keep the mat in place, so it slides when I slide. I won't be buying this product again.

The product is protective, but it tends to wrinkle when you slide the chair back and forth. I think it should be thicker or more rigid to prevent this issue.
