This motor seems to work great with my microwave unit. The numbers on the old motor matched these and the replacement looked very similar in size.The only problems I had was that I had to file down the spindle that sticks up into the unit to get it to fit into the rotating platter. I would think that a file or maybe even some sandpaper and maybe 15 minutes of work would get it to fit if you have the same experience.

This is a perfect replacement for motor, part number KX63MY2AS, on an old Kenmore microwave model 565.60302000. I did not have to shave down the shaft as many reviewers had to with theirs. Disassembling the microwave was the only challenging part as the motor can only be accessed by removing the outer shell, then removing the bottom plate which also required removing the bolts of the door hinge. The manufacturer definitely made servicing the unit a lot hard that it should have been.

The motor shaft was bigger than the original and took some very fine sanding to get it down to the size i needed. Other than that great OEM motor.

This item was packaged well, and looked identical to what I removed. However upon putting my microwave back together I found that the turntable bushing that goes over the shaft wouldn’t fit. I ended up having to trim roughly 1/16th of an inch off of the flat side like many have stated here. A utility knife wouldn’t work for mine. A sharpened pocket knife wouldn’t work and I saw it was going to make the shaft stem sloppy. I ended up making a run to the local hardware for a $5 flat file in order to make my bushing fit. After making it to the correct size for my bushing it works great and I am hoping to get another 14 years out of my microwave. All the microwaves currently sold at my local store are weaker, way to pricey, or terrible reviews. If mine made it 14 years with this small and cheap repair I would prefer to keep it around. When I purchased it it had excellent reviews.

Size of stem for turn table key not the same as the original. Although the same part number as the original, it had to be modified. It was not the same part.

Very easy to install less than 5 minutes. My motor said 3 watts this one was 4 watts but mafe no difference. Works fine and a lot cheaper than oe. 7mm shaft. X12mm long same as mine. My oven is a walmart hamilton beach.

It's a little higher wattage so that means it's a little stronger than my old one and a perfect fit. Simple to replace if your turn table stops turning so don't be afraid...

The diameter of the shaft is right on, but for my application I had to cut/file 1mm off the flat part of the motor shaft so it would fit into the sleeve of the brown plate turner part, which is also referred to as a shaft. After reassembly, gave it a whirl, and it spun the carousel in both directions like it is supposed to. When putting the cover back on I found the label from the original motor, and it is available here with this description: NMD Brand Microwave Oven TYJ50-8A19 Synchronous Carousel Glass Motor 100/120 V 4/4.8 RPMUnfortunately, I found this after the fact as it had come off the original motor and was floating around the case of the microwave. But, this one works for now, just turns the plate a little faster.
