I’ve gone through multiple spools of this SUNLU silk PLA now, and it has been consistently excellent. The prints come out smooth with a shiny, silky finish that really elevates the final look. It feeds cleanly, prints reliably, and produces far fewer issues than I expected from a silk filament. I’m using this on a Bambu P1S, and honestly, this filament has worked noticeably better for me than the Bambu Labs filament I’ve tried. Layer adhesion has been solid, and the surface quality is fantastic right off the printer. The silk gold color is especially fun—I’ve been using it to make coin tokens for board games, and they look incredible. If you’re looking for a reliable, eye-catching silk PLA, this is an easy recommendation.

Impressed and love the colors! I purchased a few rolls of filament for little critters to print and pass out for Halloween. All the kids loved them and were so excited. I used Cinderwings file for their dragon hatchling and fit around 20 on my Bambu a1 bed, so the color changes look awesome. The filament is decent, I didn’t have any of the little joints break or any issues there. I did up my bed temp by 5 degrees because we’re in a humid environment, and I didn’t have any duds in the batch. I think for such a small item, the texture was alright. The spool is wound nicely and I didn’t have any issues with tangling. Altogether, I have no complaints. It’s a great color combo that is versatile for a variety of prints, printed easily, and is eye catching for kiddos.

I took advantage of a discount and bought a few of my favorite colors, hoping for consistent quality. Color is a personal preference; some people find it good, while others might not. It all comes down to personal preference. As long as the quality is good and the price is reasonable, it's a perfect choice for my son and me. The material was okay on my first try; it's a little stiffer than my son's original material, but it works. SUNLU Shiny Filament 1.75mm PLA Filament is excellent. Quality control is excellent, and it seals well. Prints are stringy, pilling-free, odorless, and non-sticky, with high compatibility. The adhesion is excellent, and prints don't stick to the heated bed and become difficult to remove. The print success rate is very high, and the colors are vibrant and beautiful. The prints are just like those purchased online—perfect and detailed, with virtually no stringing and a bright sheen. The colors are also beautiful and surprisingly perfect.

This prints with zero issues on my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon using the built-in profile for Bambu Lab Silk PLA. It printed clean and shiny. The spool fit in the AMS without modification and it fed without issue. The filament arrived vacuum sealed. The bag was resealable. I dried the filament before use because there's no documentation to suggest that the filament is pre-dried. My only complaint is that it prints much darker than the product photos suggest but it still makes for very attractive prints.

Overall a very nice silk filament but required a bit of tweaking and major design considerations to get the desired results Pros: <> Good value <> Required a bit of tweaking and the use of Glue to make it stick on Textured PLA plate <> Prints look nice Cons: <> Color change is every 8 meters. This means that you have to carefully plan your project in order to get the color graduation desired. On smaller prints you may need to print multiple copies in order to use the 8 meters of a single color and force a change. I wish they would sell options of 4 meter and 2 meter color chantge.

My favorite so far was the simple R/B/Y blend. This was my first pack of filament, especially silk filament, and I haven't had to dry it, I haven't run into any issues with sticking, gooping, or any of the usual problems I read about. I would say the only thing I don't love is that some of the colors are kind of 'meh,' but I knew what was available when I bought it. I got the set that includes the gold/black and that was the one I felt kind of unimpressed by, but the rest of them have been great so far. Goes really well with a simple white or matte filament to sort of offset it. No clogging, texture of printed items has been great, it prints up nice and smooth with good color variance. Really happy with it. :) (Some of the pictures might look a little goofy, but that's my fault. 😅

Good quality and well wound. The spool has been a really consistent performer on a Bambulabs A1. I love the color transition and silky finish, but most importantly I get really really consistent adhesion to the build plate and between layers. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone who is interested!

Kanonfina utskrifter! Kul med färgskiftningar och blank yta. Skriver man ut en kub så kan man få olika färger på olika sidor. Modeller med mjukare former (som ödlorna i bilden och filmen nedan) har inte lika tydliga gränser. Där blir övergångarna mjukare. Har fått några misslyckade utskrifter, men inte värre än andra fabrikat. Notera att det krävs lite mer värme en vanlig PLA.

Me gustó mucho la calidad, tiene buen brillo una vez la pieza impresa, he probado otras marcas y esta resultó de las mejores, no se atasca, no se pierde color, bastante bien, recomiendo al 100 la marca
