Great

It is very quiet which is nice. Install is not bad. This unit does stick out further on the back than the original unit for a CB 1200 FS, but the metal back cover bends enough that you can still screw it back on. You just end up with a bulge on your back cover. The part that sticks out is the motor itself which extends past the mounting bracket whcih is not the case on the original part. I only took off one star for this issue because the unit is working great and is very quiet. You don't really see the back of our stove, so the bulge issue is not much of one.

You can pull the original off and clean it, but you can also buy a whole new unit. Mine was so old and dirty it had become unbalanced. Simple install. Stove is quieter than it has been in years.

A little difficult to get installed, but once it was in, it worked perfectly! Thank you!

I do not give a five stars because the housing is not the same as the original exhaust fan for my Heatilator Eco-Choice CAB50-C. That said it will fit my unit (4 bolts used only instead 5) and works good, and very quite.
