This speaker is AWESOME. I bought this 2 years ago and still sounds brand new. I take it to camp with me and clip it to my book bag with a carabiner & it's so convenient. The outdoor button on the bottom genuinely makes the speaker louder. As soon as you turn it on it immediately connects to your phone.

This little speaker has everything I need: great sound, portability, and durability, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. Sound & Performance: Even though it’s small and compact, the WONDERBOOM 3 delivers impressive 360-degree sound with surprisingly deep bass. It fills up a room (or a patio) with rich, clear sound without distortion, and I’ve been blown away by the quality, especially considering its size. Durability & Waterproofing: One of my favorite things about the WONDERBOOM 3 is how tough it is. I keep mine in the shower to listen to music while I shower every morning, and it’s held up beautifully—definitely waterproof! Plus, it's dustproof and floatable, which makes it ideal for outdoor use, whether it’s by the pool, at the beach, or on a camping trip. Buy this when on sale around 60$, probably now the permanent price that the UE wonderboom 4 has come out (reviews say the only difference ios upgrade to usb C charging from usb) as far as ultra portable speakers go, this is as good as it gets, and aging more than gracefully. After much research i settled for either this or the jbl flip 6, bought both, returned the jbl flip 6. It really depends what you want this for. If you want something for a corner in the garden for BBQ or indoors portable speaker, for the shower etc something like that, the jbl flip 6 has more powerful and better sound, but highly directional, if you want this for outdoors activity, the UE packs a punch for the size, is super portable, and the sound is much more surround sound than the jbl flip 6 which is very directional and not stereo nor surround AT ALL. When you hand the jbl flip 6 it will invariably swing around and you'll hear the sound come and go as it twists on the built in hanger. I took both on a sailing trip, and the ue boom was the best sound on an open moving ship. The rest of the crew agreed. i'd imagine it's the same in any open environment, dynamic activities or picnic etc. it's also more portable/smaller/lighter than the jbl and though both are waterproof, unlike the jbl, the ue boom floats so it's the best for water activities without a doubt. anything when you might lose it to sinking: kayaking sailing going to the beach, lake, ue wonderboom without a doubt.

I bought this speaker in 2023 specifically to use in the shower because our shower is loud and I wanted something I could actually hear over the water. It’s been great for that purpose—clear, loud enough, and totally reliable with no issues at all over the last couple of years. For context, I keep it on a suction cup holder at the far end of the tub, positioned as close to outside the shower as possible so it’s not getting direct water or steam. Occasionally the suction cup does fall, which finally led to a real stress test. Last night, the holder fell without anyone noticing, and the speaker ended up in the tub during my toddler’s bath. I walked in about 10 minutes later to find it floating in the water. I fully assumed it was done and was just relieved no one was hurt. I took it out, laid it on its side to dry, and had zero expectations it would work again. This morning, I turned it on—and it works perfectly. I honestly can’t believe how well it held up. Between the sound quality, long-term reliability, and unexpected durability, I’m extremely impressed. If you’re looking for a shower speaker that can actually be heard and seems built to survive real life, this one absolutely delivers.

These are 100% worth the price when they are on sale. They out perform the majority of other small speakers for premium sound quality, long lasting battery life, and extreme durability. These speakers really can handle drops without fear of breaking, as my toddler runs off with the grey one all the time and only real worry I have about it is getting dirty. I purchased one speaker and it was plenty loud enough for my office. It was truly remarkable how clear and loud it was at 20 - 30% volume for the size they are. A great feature that is easily overlooked is the 360 sound coverage. Where ever you place it, you’re covered, no need of moving or adjusting things around to have the speaker facing directly you. It was so good I had to purchase the second one for paired mode, and this is truly how they are meant to use these WONDERBOOM 3’s. The party mode can easily cover the large open rooms for Loud booming music and you can also switch it easily to stereo mode by holding in the middle button. Only thing I can say is if you are purchasing one at full price for a large open room, for LOUD booming music consider spending a little more and get the MegaBoom 3 or purchasing two WONDERBOOM 3 on sale.
