i have been a loyal amazon customer since 2008, over the past years i have not written any reiviews, but today i will. I bought this bottle month ago cause i thought this would prevent me from getting sick ( i easily get sick whenever i caught a cold + this year i was too busy with work that i totally forgot to take flu shot). I am asian and i truly believed in chinese herbs ! after researching for days i decided to buy this bottle. It's expensive but it's worth every penies. I caught a cold last week, am not sure if it was at my workplace cause most of them had running nose and sick. I didn't feel well last couple of days and thought i could give this a try. I took this 3-4 times/ each time 3-4 pills. For 4 days straight. And guess what. Now i am feeling much better. 1 things. I usually have a really bad sore throat when catching a cold. But this time, sorethorat came but not as bad as before, after 3 days taking this. It's gone ! I dont have to use antibiotic any more. Every single year i have to take antibitotic because of sorethorat. I swear to god !!! This helps me alot ! OH i have running nose so i took this along with pe min kan wan ( nose allergy). Such a good combination ! took 3 pills of this and 3 pills of nose allergy for 3-4 days. Hope this helps ! Thanks for your time !

If taken as prescribed it eases symptoms

The last two trips I have taken I distinctly recall the moment where I knew I was going to be sick. One moment everything is perfectly fine and then Bam, I feel that scratchiness in my throat. Somewhere I had read about these pills and decided to order them for the trip I just took, just in case… The last two times I felt sick it turned into a horrible cold/ flu that lasted well over a VERY LONG week. Sure enough, on this trip I was enjoying a coffee with friends when all of a sudden I knew I had to go back to the hotel to get these pills. I wasn't able to take them until a few hours later and did take a little more than the recommended dose as I took them more than three times per day. It's a bit of a blur but I believe I took them for or perhaps five times throughout the travels (my flight left just before midnight the day I was getting sick and I spent 20 hours in transit). Today is my second day home and I still have a little bit of sniffles and a very mild sore throat, mostly because it feels dry from the stuffiness. I definitely feel like I am on the road to recovery and I am thrilled that my cold has been very easy and seemingly quick to pass. Once I got home I did a couple of other things but definitely attribute most of the healing to these pills as I was able to be on my 18 hour flight without feeling too badly.

I'm a substitute teacher so when there's flu going around I take these with hot water in the morning and usually don't catch whatever the kids are passing around. A couple of weeks ago I forgot to do that and I got the flu. I also take it (after my daily sinus rinse) during allergy seasons and it staves off sinus infections. How many to take? I do the kinesiology thing and just tip the bottle into my left hand--anywhere from two to six. People say it helps with colds and flus if you take it when you feel the least bit of something in the beginning--not sure it works that well for this. I prefer the sugar-coated pills but they're getting very hard to find. These are more than adequate. I sure hope the new tariffs aren't going to make these harder to get!!

This stuff is amazing. My mother used to get it from an herbalist when I was younger and give it to us whenever we felt a cold/sickness coming on. It would kick whatever the bug was out of our system in a couple days and during the time we would barely notice the bug in our system if we noticed it at all. This does the same as the ones we got from the herbalist. I love these since it stops me from having to take sick days at work. I don't care if this is a placebo affect or not, they make my life 100x better when the cold and flu season is around. I have had my wife try this and she could not believe how it worked. I tell everyone about it at work and all my friends. This brand is good and works the way I would expect Yin Chiao to work. The only down side I see is that it says take 4 pills 3 times a day. They need to make a higher does pill so I only need to take 1 a day. What I found though is that when I feel that sickness tickle coming I start taking this and take it 4-5 times a day for about a week. That uses up the whole bottle, but $13 for not getting sick is well worth it in my book. Other than that I take it the 3 times daily when my family is sick and I don't end up getting what they had, and I have a 2.5 year old and 5 month old in daycare so those kids are germ factories.
