I've been using in some soap recipes that call for this, and since I've never actually used this type of product before (as I usually try to avoid parabens) - I'm actually quite impressed. I'm using them in soap scultures that are more for decor than actual use for gifts and it's been good. I'm unsure of value for the amount, but this stuff is worth a try if you want a smaller amount to try it a few recipes

This is my first time trying Methyl Paraben in my homemade personal care products, so unfortunately I have nothing to compare it to. Usually, I try to leave any unnecessary petrochemicals out of my DIY concoctions, but there are a couple of recipes I've wanted to try that call for it. They turned out as expected, so as far as I can tell, it works as it should. Other brands I've looked at appear a little more powdery than MYOCs, more like flour, whereas this is very slightly granular like extremely fine white sugar or salt. I'm not sure how that affects how easy it is to use, but I didn't have any problems getting it to dissolve.

Without scientific tests to confirm its effectiveness, all I can say is that this seems to work as I tested in 3 small batches of home made balm, and then exposed to different elements. It did offer some benefit over the control group, which is the best home testing I can execute.

This product was ordered to be used for thickening some lotion which was, you guessed it, a bit too thin.The package was delivered in 3 days, one of which was a holiday. Regardless, it was delivered on the estimated delivery date.However, the recommended concentrations range from 0.1 to 0.4%. So, I am doubtful it will be helpful in the way I had hoped. The material is well packaged with a good portion be clear and label-free so that it is easy to view the granules inside which resemble grains of sugar in both size and appearance. Perhaps I will be able to find another use for this product.

I haven’t been able to use this product yet, but I plan to use it in my skin care products. This brand is amazing! There’s a ton of product in the bag and it should last me a long time!
