Dociote Dog Winter Jacket

Bought an XXL based off reviews for my 55lb lab / GSP. it’s a little big and could have definitely gone with an XL

I purchased the XXL for my big boy, Happy. He is a Lab/Boxer/Pitbull mix and weighs 123 pounds. The XXL fits him well. I put this jacket on him for about three minutes, and he was already warm and cozy under the coat. The jacket is blue with reflectors. The color is vivid and looks excellent against his black fur. Happy's vet wants him to lose about 5-pounds. His coat will fit even better after that. I am thrilled with this purchase!

I returned a size x-large for my 60# English Yellow lab because it was too tight and too short - then I ordered an xxlarge from another place for 1/3 the price. It was exactly the same product, just not on Prime. It was larger, but still bound under the front legs. My dog would not move with this on. (He is used to wearing coats and even boots.) I left it on him for several hours and he wouldn't move until I took it off. Also it seemed to make him itch both times I tried it. We are using this for a skin condition that I wanted to cover, and it made him itch - so not good. I can't return that one because he wore it, but it will be thrown out.

Jacket is exactly as described. It is very easy to put on and take off, fit is perfect, quality materials and sewn very well. Kingsley loves his jacket and we have a hard time convincing him to let us take it off to dry because of course he has to roll and tunnel in the snow. Jacket arrived on time, zero issues. I highly recommend this jacket from this seller.

I have two of these ( each dog) The velco sucks absolutely NO holding power on the XL ONE. She almost lost it once, but fortunately the halter held it until I could get it off. I am sewing new Velcro on it.Very disappointed.Nice looking, decent fit but doesn’t stay on 😥Won’t buy again.
